We'll see how Belichick adapts here. He'll probably be coaching up those young linebackers all week, telling them to stay at home and not play out of position like they were doing against Buffalo.

Leon Washington and Dustin Keller have the chance to be very effective against inexperienced linebackers.

I wonder who will make the defensive calls for New England with Mayo out? There is no veteran leadership in that huddle outside of Shawn Springs, Adalius Thomas, and maybe Vince Wilfork/Jarvis Green/Ty Warren...and defensive linemen rarely make the calls.

My guess is Adalius Thomas, but if they play a ton of 4-3, he'll be playing with his hand in the dirt a lot.

More important is who the camera-holder is going to be.

I have allot of friends that live in New England. I laugh how allot of them forget that Brady was a Rookie and took them to the SB and that was BB second year as the HC. BB first head coaching job was with the Brown, and he sucked. Rob Ryan was the Def Coach and the pats rank in the top 5 with him there. Now all I see are post talking about Rex looks like Ron White and Sanchez sucks, Bart is a baby. I cant wait till Sunday to watch the Jets play. The Pats got Lucky on Monday night Plain and Simple

I would love to see BB storm off the field on Sunday

James Sanders was a beast at Fresno State, but calling him a defensive star is a little much.

eh.. nothing you wouldn't expect from Pats fans. A few of them are in a serious state of denial.

We'll probably never know how good Clemens could have been but at worst he was the second best QB drafted that year. For a 'loyal' fan you really seem to love to hate an awful lot of Jets.

Well, you've got Cutler, who I'm glad as hell we didn't draft, and the same goes for Leinert and Young. At least with Clemens, we never had terribly high expectations. Cutler's been a fine QB, great even, but he's that big a douche.

Brady was actually in his second year when he took them to the SB. He sat out his entire rookie year.

He had a stellar rookie season, completing 1 pass on 3 attempts for 6 yards.

Almost won rookie of the year even though he didn't play, even back then there was Tom Brady lovers. lol

As I recall bspn tried to spin it that way in their post-game highlights based on one play. If someone didn't watch the game but only saw sposrtscenter they could easily end up with that impression.
