Quick question....didnt last year jenkins man handled the pats center? like broke his arm or something?lol and also pats fans r just scared cuz they looked shitty against a bad buffalo team.
They didn't have a run game when they went 19-1. Brady was rusty. Thouh like I said in another thread. Buffalo got tired and couldn't keep the pass pressure on. Brady will and I mean WILL beat a team with time. Without time Brady = Delhomme week 1
They dont realize there Defense is garbage now and will allow 200 yards rushing next week. Let them wait and see. Smug fucks.
this is the biggest break that the Jets can get on that defense. now there isn't anyone to lead them. Their core is gone and their next generation franchise defender is out for this game. It makes the contest that much more interesting.
I was going to say "lol most of their fans dont even live in Mass. - then I realised I live in the UK
And dont try and run the ball out of the end zone and fumble it to give them an easy score right at the end of the game - stupid Bills.
I don't know how anyone could watch the game and say Sanchez has no pocket presence. That's what he has MOST
I agree, and when Simms says that is one of Sanchez's best traits, that and his footwork then I tend to believe an NFL veteran over some fanboys on a rival message board.
Wait until they face a real team .... It sure won't be in week 2 Sanchez has no pocket presence .... Nice that thier web site lets the mentally handicapped post
The funny thing is Merrill Hoge said the same thing about his footwork last Friday and I laughed then too. Anybody who listens to ESPN to try and get any incite into any sport is just wasting their time.
I laugh when they call it "happy feet". Most analysts seem to suck these days. What the hell does Hoge know about playing QB anyway?
I've heard Peyton Manning described as having "happy feet". I agree that term is totally misunderstood and misused by a number of analysts.
I actually think the biggest break the Jets could get on that defense would be Wilfork being out, but Mayo is huge.
Agree on the ESPN point. I still remember hearing Jaworski saying that Clemens is the BEST QB to come outta that years draft...hmm...I think he'd wanna retract that statement.
With Mayo out, the Patriots have two second year, inexperienced, undrafted guys playing in the middle: Guyton and Alexander. I've been reading up on the Pats - I'm willing to bet we'll see a lot of 4-3 this Sunday. They do not have enough depth at inside backer to run too much 3-4. Gary Guyton is an interesting player. In 2008, he ran the fastest forty at the combine (4.47) - so he'll definitely be able to keep up with Dustin Keller, but Guyton's inexperience should cause a lot of problems with his reads. Schotty will attack the inexperience that New England has in the middle of the field. The pound the rock philosophy will be there early and even if things start off slow like last week, the play-action will be there.
Nice analysis. Interesting to see them in 4-3 more. The Bills were pretty successful running screens against them.
