    bump.

This is classic. Jeaux predicts a 10-6 finish.

A year later, how does 4-12 feel?

    You're off about 6 wins and 6 losses...man you're a jerk.

I think you are also underrating how bad jamarcus russel is going to be and how bad your o line is going to be. Just because your employing a zone blocking scheme doesnt mean your o-line is going to turn into a bunch of pro-bowlers over night. WOO HOO you have a great secondary, means jack shit did the 16-0 patriots have a good secondary, No; did the colts that won the superbowl and had all those amazing records have a good secondary no. Hmm denver broncos, best secondary champ bailey, dre bly ; What was their record? Ill give u that thomas howard and morrison are beasts, but you need to learn to stop the run and thats not gonna happen the way your o line looks. Terdell sands is average kelly is overrated and wont be as good as you think he is at dt, and burgess has never been good against the run.

You win games in the trenches, by not turning the ball over, by stopping the run not by your weapons.

    Lets see:
    1. O line suck (you made some upgrades by signing backups, maybe they will workout in your zone blocking scheme, better double cross your fingers)
    2. D line is avg who are your lbs beside morrison and howard? especially if u say your running a 3-4 now too, burgess to olb? whose your other de then?
    3. Turning the ball over- First year starting jamarcus russell sorry but he was overhyped, he won 1 football game, i love the fact that the kid has a cannon but for real, i dont think he can be the vince young for this team and i see him throwing more picks then tds this year.
    4. stopping the run- People arent gonna pass as much now that your secondary is "amazing" you better beef up and stop the run and return the raiders of old.

Why should 2007 be any different than 2004, 2005 and 2006?

For fun I'm going to try a serious prediction:
    1 Sunday, Sept. 9 1:15 p.m. Detroit Lions McAfee Coliseum FOX- L
    2 Sunday, Sept. 16 1:15 p.m. at Denver Broncos INVESCO Field CBS-L
    3 Sunday, Sept. 23 1:05 p.m. Cleveland Browns McAfee Coliseum CBS-W
    4 Sunday, Sept. 30 10:00 a.m. at Miami Dolphins Dolphin Stadium CBS-W
5 Sunday, Oct. 7 BYE WEEK
6 Sunday, Oct. 14 1:15 p.m. at San Diego Chargers QUALCOMM Stadium CBS-L
    7 Sunday, Oct. 21 1:05 p.m. Kansas City Chiefs McAfee Coliseum CBS-W
    8 Sunday, Oct. 28 10:00 a.m. at Tennessee Titans The Coliseum CBS-W
    9 Sunday, Nov. 4 1:15 p.m. Houston Texans McAfee Coliseum CBS-L
    10 Sunday, Nov. 11 1:15 p.m. Chicago Bears McAfee Coliseum FOX-W
    11 Sunday, Nov. 18 10:00 a.m. at Minnesota Vikings The Metrodome CBS-L
12 Sunday, Nov. 25 10:00 a.m. at Kansas City Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium CBS-L
    13 Sunday, Dec. 2 1:05 p.m. Denver Broncos McAfee Coliseum CBS-W
14 Sunday, Dec. 9 10:00 a.m. at Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field CBS-L
    15 Sunday, Dec. 16 1:05 p.m. Indianapolis Colts McAfee Coliseum CBS-L
    16 Sunday, Dec. 23 10:00 a.m. at Jacksonville Jaguars Municipal Stadium CBS-L
17 Sunday, Dec. 30 1:15 p.m. San Diego Chargers McAfee Coliseum CBS -L

I'd say 6-10 though i think they have an outside chance at being as good as 9-7. If san diego has clinched I think they sit a lot of guys and the raiders take that game, possible with the JAX and colts games too. Houston they have a shot at too.

    OK.

You had a good run at the beginning and the end (maybe because you predicted a lot of losses dureing the end).

See, this is the problem - people say such things without any real proof. I'd hazard a guess that no blind squirrel EVER found a nut, and gnawed his own arm off for food, before dying a slow, miserable death.

Why are people giving the Raiders the Browns game? I have more respect for the Browns offense and their off-season defensive moves as well as their secondary.

Sorry Jeaux, I easily see the Raiders starting 1-3 before their Bye.

You have the Raides beating Green Bay, Minnesota and the Chargers...are you kidding? I'm a beleiver that Aaron Rodgers will be good. That the vikings will be nasty in the front 7 and serviceable enough at qb. And that the Chargers are on their way to a superbowl. You sir are an ignoramous. 7-9 or 8-8 at best!!!

This is a really bad bump because everyone thinks these are 2008 predictions when they were in fact made before last year.
