The Jets had 7 sacks today. When was the last time the Jets had that many sacks in a game? They also held the Titans without a TD for a long time. The only bad thing was not even targeting Mims once. Fuck Lafleur!
He jumped off the field today in person. I don’t know how it translated on TV… apparently well… but he was EVERYWHERE. What a pleasant surprise.
Thank you for bringing this up, he played a phenomenal game. He was diagnosing those screens well. When he see’s the video he will definitely make adjustments for next time and could probably take one back for a pick six.
He's gonna beat himself over it lol for sure But I'm excited to see the adjustments. We have several players on this defense playing lights out right now
Can’t really complain since Crowder, Cole and Davis all made plays. Being the 3 most experience guys out there was hugely beneficial for Zach
Wild thing is he's only 5'11", and he damn near tore thru Henry one time, stopping him in his tracks by himself. He's a missile. “The main thing is run through him,” Williams said. “When I’m tackling a person, I’m looking through him. I’m not worrying about breaking down. My coaches tell me to shoot my shot. I have 10 other players coming so my main mindset is run straight through them.” Williams has impressed the Jets coaches. “First of all, his speed, his explosiveness, they jump off the tape,” defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich said. “He’s a guy that just has different speed, different quickness, different explosiveness, very unique in that way.”
He had a fantastic game. I need to see consistency though before I proclaim anything big about this kid. Encouraging though for sure. Should have had a couple picks this game. Otherwise, a very solid game.
Not for nothing, but this is the 2nd week in a row he has performed like this. Against Denver he 6 tackles, 2 TFL, and a forced fumble. I agree though, it needs to be remain consistent the entire year.
He really shows up every game. He does screw up and is out of place on a lot of plays but he also makes some plays where I feel bad about crapping on him earlier. I think this guy could develop into something, so far he flashes consistently, now he needs to start figuring out complete games.
