"by week 8" or "at week 8". Whatever. There were a couple of news articles where at least one news person was pissed about Herm. I don't count media perspective as the going rate for whether a coach should be fired. I remember there being some grumbling from the fans as well but there is no realistic way to really determine just how many, if it were a majority, were clamoring for him to be gone. If memory serves correctly this all occurred right around the time that Green went down with the injury too, so that is going to skew things. Needless to say, KC has a better shot at the playoffs than we do at this point, so who is crying now in KC? Not many I bet.
Nice to see you can disagree with style and grace  Like I said which makes more sense, a bet made where anyone week could determine the outcome knowing that fans typically are reactionary, or a bet where there is judgement over a body of work at a certain time? We see that reactionary nature on this board all the time and I've spoken out against it so anyone who knows anything about me would know my thinking would be the latter and that any bet I would make would be based on that belief. If one wants to say that Champ shouldn't pay because of the vagueness of the bet that's fine, like I said I was donating the money to the board anyway. But to try and discount my opinion just shows your bias.
Oh right, now try to turn it into my bias. "By week 8".....Why don't you go sit down and debate this with you, yourself and the mirror.
Well, we have a bunch of mods, why not ask them to discuss it and vote on it? If champ and MD both agree of course, and are willing to be bound by what the mods say. Otherwise I think, since it's vague, and a silly bet, why not both just agree to drop the bet?
Just each donate $10 to the board. There, problem solved. Is it really worth bringing the whole board into a pissing contest between you two?
I am so not a fackin post whore. It's actually just quicker to reply than it is to edit. Look at my start date and my post count.....that says it all.
