That's not a definite yet, I know they didn't practice yesterday, but I think Smith is closer then Cotch.
JCo & Smith Are No-Gos...Again. Now By Kimberley A. Martin For the second straight week, wide receivers Jerricho Cotchery Brad Smith will not be able to play, said coach Rex Ryan. CB Lito Sheppard is also ruled out for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. JCo is still hampered by a hamstring injury and Smith (quad) may be two weeks away from being game-ready." Said Rex: "I was hoping Jerricho was going to be able to do it. (But) To make that trip all the way out there... "We feel it's best he stays back and rehabs. We'll hopefully get him back 100 percent for next week." WR David Clowney will replace him in the starting lineup. Added Rex: "As far as Lito, we have to push himm out of this building at night. He's trying to do everything he can. He's just not ready. "Brad is better. I thought Brad was less likely to play than Jerricho and I'm not sure he'll be able to play next week." CB Donald Strickland (ankle) and T Damien Woody (knee and foot) are questionable for Sunday, though Rex said he thinks both will play... WR Braylon Edwards (quad), DE Shaun Ellis (knee), LB David Harris (wrist), LB Larry Izzo (hamstring), LB Marques Murrell (head), S Kerry Rhodes (knee), LB Bryan Thomas (wrist) and WR Wallace Wright (knee) are all probable.
Crap!! I really want to see Cotch back in there, I think that's huge for Mark. He'll manage this week though, they better be ready for Miami!
Jerome Bettis > INSIDE THE NFL Oct. 26, 2009 Bus Stops: Benson can move on now; why L.A. doesn't need team ~ ~ ? I'm not sure I understand why Mark Sanchez is apologizing for eating a hot dog on the sidelines against the Raiders. It was a West Coast game, which throws off your whole body schedule; plus, the Jets had that game in the bag at that point. When I played, perhaps a water boy or someone would have some food on the sideline, or you would ask someone to grab a bite from the locker room, where there's always a spread. But let me tell you, it's not hard to get a hot dog. I've had a hot dog. I've had cookies. I actually had a hamburger. It wasn't done up the way I liked it, with ketchup and mustard and lettuce and tomato. But I had a hamburger, and a sideline hamburger serves its purpose. > http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/jerome_bettis/10/26/bus.stops.week7/index.html
