I'll take Leftwich as the veteran retread. Hopefully he would only play if both Clemens and Ratliff suck.

Bring back Brett #1 and let Brett #2 learn.

Cut Clemens, he had his chance.

Of all of the FA QB's I would rather have Leftwich. He should be healthy because he hasnt played alot so he should be pretty fresh and he can through the ball. If he sucks let him ride the bench and tutor the young guys.

No Leftwich, he isn't any better than Clemens or he would be starting.

    Brett and Brett show!

Are you serious! Do you truely believe that statement. I would say he is on par with clemens but no way is the guy better. He would have stuck as a starter in his first 3 tries at it.

Yeah, but the difference is that those guys were once good. Boller never was.

Warner may also be a FA and McNabb will most likely be cut. Not that shabby a class of FA QBs.

Hell yes he's better. His completion percentage improved every year. He's not as bad as people make you think he is.

When the news about Brett coming to the Jets came out, I thought to myself that this would be a temporary experiment and we were once again not grooming a long term QB to lead our franchise. With Farves return still not known, we are still following our tried true position in terms of Quarter backing.....What ever works!!!!!!!!

I really hope Kellen Clemens gets to atleast compete in TC for a starting role.

Most Jets fans always jump to exaggerated, uninformed conclusions like this. If a player has a few bad games -- who cares how well he may have played before -- that's it, he's done. Don't even try to trade him -- just cut him.

These Jets fans, you see, are really, really smart.
