The same Josh Freeman that threw five INTs in one game...all inside the opponents 30 yard line? That Freeman? LOL. The same Josh Freeman who threw 18 INTs to Mark's 20, but only started 9 games? I remember another poster that used to come on here last year and kept comparing the two saying the Jets should have drafted Freeman, but I see you just signed up, I think the other poster was banned.
LOL. It's not like Sanchez looked great or in the playoffs or anything, lets not trust the guy we started for 18 games last year, and who was part of the reason why we made it to the AFCCG. I can bash you for it because it is America. He was voted Pepsi Rookie of the week in the first 3 weeks of the season, and lets be fair, 12 of his 20 interceptions came in 3 games. He will improve this year. Manning threw more interceptions (28) then Sanchez did in his first year starting, and Manning had the benefit of sitting for a year. I'm not claiming Mark Sanchez is going to be better then Sure-fire hall of famer Peyton Manning, but he is not nearly as bad as you are making him out to be.
I want your crack. Josh Freeman, in 10 games, Put up 10 TD's and 18 Ints. Sanchez put up 12 TD's and 20 ints in 15 regular season games. That's about the same rate, except Freeman would have had more INTs over the course of 15 games then did Sanchez, and Sanchez was on a run 1st team.... I'll take Mark any day of the week.
Fact: Sanchez is young with limited game experience and could benefit from an experienced QB mentoring him Fact: Brunell would probably be a good mentor but is too old to back Sanchez up Fact: Brunell wants to get into coaching Then just hire the fucker as a QB assistant coach and save the roster spot
^^^^^ yes, #1 and #2 are opinions and not facts. And #3 is a flat-out FACT: Footballgod214's avatar involves a SERIOUSLY sweet ass.... *ducks for cover*
