I think fans think we have this unlimited boatload of money and that the cap is never coming back. People want Santonio, Braylon and Cromatie. Unless someone is willing to take a major a discount it's just not possible. I expect that one of Braylon or Santonio will be back and that Cromatie will take the biggest contract he gets offered. Can the Jets really afford to pay a 2nd cornerback big money after the Revis contract? Tanny is a genius with the cap but he had no know when he got these guys that some of them would not be here next year. It's just not possible. The owners and the union basically agree that they need to have a cap for the sake of the owners wanting a ceiling and the players wanting a floor.
I think it's a success since we knocked the Patriots out of the playoffs. Now they know we can beat them at their place and we can take the division.
