This is why you don't sit him. If he struggles they have to let him work through it. Big part of the learning process. I hope these threads start disappearing because they seem to pop up every game.
FYI for the Sanchez Bashers here: Stafford has looked worse (albeit with less talent) and Cutler has looked terrible (and against lesser competition).
Sanchez put us in position to win, and into position to go up 3 points with 5 min to go. Our D went into a hole on the last drive, the loss is on them.
The seasons over. Play Sanchez and lets see if he's really the real deal you fucking moron. What he think Kellen Fucking Clemens is gonna take this team to glory and go 11-5??
um the one thing that we have right now is a good oline with good talent at the skilled positions.... a couple of non rookie throws wins this game... rex has a bigger crush on sanchez than some of the fans in this forum ...so it wont happen...i would've sat his ass after that stupid 2nd pick... he could've had 3 or 4 today
It's tough to compare QBs in completely different situations. Stafford was getting pummeled all day today, and while the stats won't show it, played a helluva game today. They've both shown flashes but are way too inconsistent, which was to be expected considering their exp. level. Neither is near being a legitimate QB.
i guess you like losing.... changing it up a bit isn't a bad thing... there is such a thing as a relief pitcher
Play Clemens when even if he plays well, he'll only be marginably better than Sanchez? What's the point? Let Sanchez develop. We aren't winning the superbowl with Clemens. You gotta live and die with Sanchez.
There is also such thing as a learning experience. Taking these bumps, seeing the different situations and formations, getting the game experience and learning the speed of the NFL game are alot easier IN THE GAME than on the bench.
There's actually no reason to compare the two, aside from saying that their both playing like, gasp, Rookies. I haven't seen Stafford play so I can't say how he's been but Sanchez is not playing terribly. He's learning and for the second time this season he's lead a comeback drive to put the team in a position to win the game at the end if the defense can just not let up the last score. He came out flat and took a while to get back into rhythm but that's going to change. As he progresses.
