It's 2 solid moves for the Angels, I would not be in the least bit surprised to see the Rangers make a hard push to get Prince Fielder. Don't believe the crap Nolan Ryan is saying about Mitch Moreland. With Weaver and Haren they don't even need Wilson to be a stud, just a solid mid rotation guy.

What's funny is a few days ago I said I was slowly becoming an Angels fan (it's posted in the Mets thread) because I live on the West Coast and I am so sick of the Wilpons that I wasn't gonna pay for the MLB Package because I would be able to watch a team committed to winning in the Angels for free. I've been watching those guys for years because the Dodgers suck, never really dug the Giants and the A's well they're not very exciting. Throw in their GM went to my high school. I'm excited to see what happens now with Fielder.

Pujols is a good signing for the Angels. they can afford to eat the last few years of the contract as he declines.

Pujols is a great hitter, but I am not sure if his age is accurate and it could be a contract that looks fine for five years and then not so fine.

If he brings the Angels even one World Series Championship, it will all be worth it to that franchise.

The Dodgers cast a mighty big shadow and the rally monkeys have ran their course with no championships.

Either way, Pujols most likely will do the majority of his damage in the first five years of that contract.

    Obviously he will.

They vastly overpaid, considering Pujols is already declining.

Pujols will be worth 20+ million for maybe 2 or 3 years. After that, the contract will look terrible.
