Yeah, this is potentially awesome. I actually took a bus from NJ to the Port Authority only to take a bus back to the game last year several times. It felt like Groundhog's Day going through the tunnel so many times! My only concern with this is that if you read the details on the web site, they say you buy a special ticket from machines in the Port Authority or Penn Station and that you then use that as, I think, both your train ticket and the bus pass. They say you can "buy them in advance," which I hope means I can get one sent here. Or that I can buy one from a machine in Secaucus. Or just pay $10 when I get on the bus. I sent them an email to clarify, so we'll see. But yeah, it would be great for me to take a 30 minute train ride then a 10 minute bus and then I can drink as much as my heart desires and not worry about driving.
I guess the reason they changed the bus is because it wont be long until you take a train directly to the stadium. The train will connect at the seacacus junction
