I didn't think you were doing it on purpose. It's hard not to get used to calling plays that work when you're always matched up against the CPU.
I didn't blitz the corner at all. I was in a formation where I literally dropped every single player on my team into zone coverage...even Long, Carriker, and Kerney.
yea i did, i won 34-11. the game was close, carr made two horrible throws that really cost him the game. One Avery was one on one with the safety and was wide open and he over threw him. had he caught it, it would have been a td. The same thing happened later on the other side except this time i picked it.
I think because i rolled out everybody came at vy i guess, that play is pretty sick but usually the cpu stops it for a 8 yrd gain.
FYP. No, that's not what happened. I saw the play. He literally shot off the line of scrimmage to the right of the field, no one even had a shot on the field. If my players are in a zone coverage, which all 11 were on different parts of the field, they wouldn't run at Young. I didn't have all 11 QB spy. You didn't roll out either. VY receiver the snap, moved like two steps to his right and threw it to a wide open Boldin.
If thats what you saw, then. i usually roll out but your rite he was wide wide open, was anybody else that open on the play, i was pretty zeroed in on boldin. The play is every one runs slants to the middle except the inside man which runs a slant to the side line. I wont run it again.
I'm such an idiot....slammed my controller on the wood floor and now it feels funny...how is a controller made piece of cheap plastic worth $35?! Definitely need to get a new one. I'll use the other one when I go into practice mode with two controllers, but damn I'm mad that I banged in against the floor. Anyway, Mr. E....I haven't played him in awhile, but in my opinion Brickwall is straight. User catching is an essential part of the game. In many cases a good defender will pick off a throw over the middle or towards the sideline if the offensive player doesn't click on and use speed burst button to go after the ball.
I stepped one of mine and now the D-pad feels really loose and it won't vibrate anymore. Luckily I had two...
Yea, the d-pad on mine also feels funny and the handle below it too. Maybe I can wrap it with some electrical tape....?
For most of the game he played straight - I'm all for using catching...I try to do it in one on one's, but these weren't catches caused by switching into the WR and using turbo. Boldin basically teleported to the ball. It just seems to me that he's picked up a lot of exploit plays while playing against the computer. I don't care though, it's over and done with.
Steven Jackson got hurt in the 2nd quarter of my game vrs. the CPU that is in progress...not sure how serious it is. EDIT: Nevermind he's back halfway through the 4th quarter...whew.
Oh shit, SJ just suffered an abdominal tear while I was trying to run up the score on the Texans... Injury length is TBD...
My brother is out at baseball practice and then has a few lessons. He should have it done some time this afternoon.
