I wouldn't call myself the Peyton Manning of this online franchise. There are so much better players in this league. I have gotten more acquainted with the Cowboys playbook tho so I'm starting to get a feel for my receivers and where they'll be. So I'm able to motion better and change routes on the fly. Like I said before, good all-around game. Eagles will be tough.
For some reason I thought I had a bye this week, but I'm just an idiot. I played the CPU Lions this morning and beat them 38-20...I think this new update/patch is making the CPU play a little better. I've never seen a CPU team move the ball so well on my defense and this was the 0-6 Lions - they converted a shitload of third downs on me. David Carr had a mediocre game. 4 TDs and 297 yards, but I threw two early INTs (one where the defensive back teleported in front of my receiver...the other was totally my fault and I threw it up for grabs). I'm pretty surprised with how well I've done with him so far considering how much I throw the ball. It looks like I hardly ever run the ball, but that's because my offensive line gets almost no push, so I basically have to run the 2007 Patriots' offense...passing is my only hope.
You need to find a way to contain Vick if you are going to win next week. Im not gonna lie, my buddy loves to run the ball with him.
You never seen a DB teleport in front of a pass before? I hear Rex is trying to teach his DB's that skill. Its pretty valuable....
I saw the stats and already figured I'd implement that, a couple of corner blitzes, and plenty of Dware spy's by moving him around. I'm pretty decent defensive wise and gameplan accordingly. It's the O that always fucks it up for me, but I'm getting that under my belt as I move along.
By the way Scik, I ball placement does not work for me (or it may be that Romo sucks). In my game against Jam, I ran a post route with Austin and saw a small window between the corner and MLB. His FS was dropping back into coverage, maybe about 10 yds BEHIND Austin. I threw the ball and held down on the controller and Romo completely overthrew him and into the hands of the FS that was playing deep. I gotta check Romo's Long/Medium Pass attributes, but it's not like it was a bomb or anything. It was more like a 10-15 yd pass. It's ridiculous.
Could have something to do with either his accuracy as a QB, Clutch, if his feet were completely set, or if he has been hit alot. I doubt its some glitch...
By the way, his ShortPA: 92, MediumPA: 88, and DeepPA: 75. I can't believe he'd throw such a shitty ball with 88 Acc. Since when is 15yd passes considered "Deep"?
Yea its not often, but Madden did touch on these situations to make it more realistic... You can't just throw off your back foot anymore....the QB has to be set...
Well I meant Peyton Manning not in skill, but like how you make the shifts at the line of scrimmage, motions and audibles. Stuff like that.

It's not your fault Brick - I'd be fine with a temporary ban for Mav if he comes up with a decent excuse. Get rid of him for this week so Brick can play his game, and then let Mav back in later.
