Holy shit man, I never realized how long you've been here. I'm trying to think how many posters that post regularly have been here longer then me. I never really look at join dates because they don't really matter to me (U can be a long time poster and still be a horse's ass like me) so I never would have guessed that I joined before 17A.
Can't believe some of you guys have been around that long. It feels like ages since I joined in 2005... I guess it has been. Still, 10 years is a damn long time.
Although I joined in 2003 (iirc), that's really 1998 in British time. Edit: Jan 2004 apparently. 2003 season.
It's been a long time <------ since 2001? The last time the Jets won the division was the year the board switched to this format.... coincidence? I think not It's about that time again! :jets:
Can any of you first settlers describe what it was like back then ? I mean what was that first Thanksgiving with the Indians like  nice job guys keep the board going
I was a late joiner was a regular over at the AOL Jets board ( great group at the time, many good Jet fans still there) but AOL changed the format and did away with the mods. All the knuckleheads started coming out of the woodwork making a great board average. Came over to TGG and have never looked back. To me this is the defintive Jets board on the net.
That's funny, I am almost certain that is the day I signed up as well....granted, I lurk a lot and don't post too frequently....
looks like I registered December of 2002. I just lurk 90% of the time instead of posting Has it really been 10 years? Wow.
Looks like he is NOT listening that everybody had to register again in 02 when the ORIGINAL board crashed & went to internet heaven with no data left behind from that original board
Wow, it is hard to believe that I have been on this message board for almost 10 years now (I joined a few months before the server crash). Starting posting here when I was 15. Major props to Petro for keeping this going for such a time.
Well, running a board with a hundred or so members is very different from running one that has thousands. I read pretty much every thread back then. Now it's just physically impossible and I don't spend nearly as much time here these days anyway. The mods are doing a great job.
