Projecting the 2006 compensatory picks

    Even though the formula says we get onlt one pick due to the net FA signed/lost - I hope they take in the quality of signed/lost and adjust that one pick accordingly. That 3rd would be very appropriate in my jaded opinion.

    If this is all true it makes the signings of Legree and Gardner ludicrous in my eyes. Effectively we've given up what could amount to a 4th and a 7th (guesswork) to have these two makeweights on the roster. Spots which could easily have been filled by players cut or undrafted rookies. Damn.

    Yeah.... Gardner cost us a fourth round comp pick.... how pathetic is THAT?
