I don't get why this pisses guys like you off. We we get worked up over it because it means our team has valuable players. I'm more into our players being chosen than the actual game itself.

I hate to break it to you guys, but the vast majority of football fans are total dumbasses. This is why I turn to the internet for football debate. If I try to spark up an intelligent football convo with someone at a game or in a sportsbar, I get the kiddie version from them every time. Passionate, knowledgable football fans are really not that easy to come by.

  5. Same here man (metalheads think alike!).

90% of the time...talking sports w/ someone at a bar makes me feel like some sort of freak...as most people dont have the vas knowledge of myself and most people on a site like this.

So true. The best non-internet place I've come by is the place I go to physical therapy. Too bad I'm the only Jets fan there.

If our Guys breakout and have a great game on the 24th (mondaynight vs. Miami:finssuck: ) it will help with the votes, not only from the fans but the rest of the nfl.

I'm happy that Dyson is getting some dap, a very good FA addition.

Rhodes 4th is blasphemy...He should be 1st! Maaaaaaaaybe 2nd. I'm surprised Polamalu isn't leading by popularity.

If he makes it, that means he gets a bonus money salary raise, and that comes from the NFL Players department I believe not us. I am pretty sure that in most contracts, theres something in the fine lines of ''If you happen to appear in a pro bowl, you get a salary raise for that year''.

You wouldent be happy for him if he gets a money bonus, and gets more motivation from it? Because that would happen if Kerry happens to make the pro bowl this year.

one things you boys are not mentioning is Vilma's position on that list. IF you want people to be objective about our players then you should all be very suprised that Vilma is that high on the MLB voting as he is having a poor season by his standards.

So I can only assume he is getting votes based on his play last year and not this year. A few more high profile games for Rhodes and im sure he will shoot up the list.

thats what I was thinking, Vilma 3rd is a joke. he shouldnt even be mentioned. As Rhodes should be 1 and so on.

oh well we might not even make the playoffs so Pro Bowls dont matter to me except for the fact it gets players amp'd. But it does sound nice when you can say a player from your team made it.

And WHO do you think deserves it over Vilma? Zach Thomas leads all MLBs, Ray Lewis is second. Lewis had a good season, he deserves it. Zach Thomas? Are you kidding me? London Fletcher is 4th, Tedy Bruschi is 5th. And Vilma defenitely deserves it over those 2 or 3.

vilma has been anything but impressive. and this is from what a "sunshiner". last week i saw him miss multiple tackles, even trying to make arm tackles, and taking himself out of position.

I thought the lack of presence mightve been due to D-Rob but since hes playing better Vilma has only seemed to dissappear.

all I know is, if Vilma continues to play like this and makes the Pro Bowl. its been a slow year at MLB.

Why don't you ever respond when anyone asks you where you got this info?

Because there IS no official source. Dont you think i would've posted a link if there was? The NFL wont release this kind of stuff to the public. Some journalists have access to those type of informations so you really have to ask them where to find this stuff.
