Cimini tweeted some very damning stats:
Jets defense went soft. Brady was 9-for-10, 101 yds
when Jets rushed only 3, including 5-for-5 on final 2 drives

    Why Change Up

They had the Pats contained all game. No blow out like 2 years ago. But when they needed a stop they went prevent. This is not a Rex Ryan defense that I know and it is not how he coaches. I can't remember the last time I saw the Jets go prevent. Brady even took a shot for the endzone. This loss falls on the coaches.

what baffles me is our defense shuts them down almost the entire game why would we play differently in the closing mins?

if it aint broke, why change?

If I see Calvin pace and Bryan Thomas on this team next some heads will roll...litterally. They do nothing and the Jets have to get more speed and power from the linebacker position. Pace hasn't been the same since he got caught roiding. Thomas never been nothing and is a slight upgrade from Gholston, very slight. Next draft should be a linebacker in at least 3 of the 7 rounds.

This. Why change what's working, especially for something that hasn't worked before, particularly against Brady?
