Having a hard time thinking about IF's, Lets just play the first game. Go Jets. OH also if you have Directv, this weekend only all games are free. Dont have a link but if you go to their website you can find it there.
12-4 We lose to the steelers, 49ers, pats and texans hey i'm trying not to be optimistic but jesus our schedule is seriously easy
I said 10-6 before the season in another thread. I said we would lose to Pats twice, San Fran, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and I think Seattle. Looking at the schedule, we could win a lot of games. Lots of winnable games out there. Not sure if we'll be consistent enough to do it, we'll drop a game or two we don't expect or want to.
With Revis- Between 12-4 and 15-1 W/o- My guess is anywhere from 7-9 at worst and 13-3 at best. My hope is 15-1 but it all depends on everybody rallying together and getting through adversity. This can definitely be a championship team if they get their act together and get it done.
I'm going to back down to 7-9/8-8 from my earlier prediction of 8-8/9-7. The primary difference is that the NFC West is looking a lot tougher than they did when I made the first prediction. Revis absence has almost no effect on how I think the Jets are going to do. Then again, Rex may be over-rated as a defensive coach and living off the fact that he had Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata in Baltimore and Revis in NY. If that's the case the bottom could drop out. Trivia question: How many starters on the 2009 Jet's defense from game one are still starting now? Answer: 3. David Harris, Bart Scott and Calvin Pace. Think about it.
I'll say 7-9 and I honestly don't think it will make much of a difference. I think that the Jets are in trouble this year with or without Revis. This just might make some scores against certain teams look uglier.
