the arguement about us being terrible against opponents with a > .500 % is becoming very accurate now
@Steelers - big win - "Pats did it too, no big deal." @Bears - pull a win out of ass - media regains boner for Jets and Mark "Clutch" Sanchez. Bills - lose low scoring game - "They were holding back because they knew they were already in the playoffs." No matter what, either the Pats or Jets are going to be the media's obsession.
After seeing how incredibly out of sync this offense is this late in the season it looks very possible that they could go 0-3 from here out and not even make the playoffs. If that happens, I hate to say it, but it's pretty much like 1986 or 2008 all over again and the SOJ's will return.
Win Loss Win I think the Jets matchup well against the Steelers. The Bears on the other hand, have a really good defensive line and line backers. Brady was pretty lucky to not get intercepted today. I think Sanchez and the OL will have a tough time with the Bears.
I said the Jets would need a confidence builder win against the Dolphins for them to have any chance to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. I stand by that. @ Pitt - L @ Chicago - W Buffalo - W I guess the only good news is that if they go 0-2 going in to the Buffalo game for a playoffs spot, they may have a chance to win that game. But Fitzpatrick has been playing decent enough for Buffalo to beat teams who come out and play like the Jets did against New England and Miami.
Steelers: 24-21 win involving a sanchez to holmes clutch pass at the end... Bears: 17-9 Loss, Sanchez throws 3 picks Bills: 27-17 win, Jets get there asses kicked in the first half, then come back big
Also, the New England win today puts the Jets loss last week in perspective. New England is playing like 2007-2008, hands down best team in the NFL right now. Anything other than a perfect game by the Jets last week and they lose anyway. The Miami loss is probably far worse of a loss, in my opinion because I didn't expect the Jets to win in New England but I did expect them to beat Miami at home.
I think we'll beat either the Bears or the Bills. It's hard to imagine beating the Steelers when you look at our offensive output versus teams with good defenses this year. 10-6
Three wins. Buffalo will be the closest game out of the three. Everybody jumps back on board and we go all the way to fucking dallas.
Pittsburgh is good but not dominant. Chicago is pretty good but has holes. The Jets suck though, on offense at least. After watching the last two weeks it's really hard to see us winning these games.
we are in a funk. I think we pull out over the next few weeks, probably lose to Steelers, then win the last 2. End up at 11-5 for the season, not too bad. I think I predicted 12-4, but any playoff birth at this point would be great.
If we loose to Pitt and Chicago do you really even wanna take a back door into the playoffs by barely gettin past Buffalo? We will just be the team that lost to all the good teams and squeaked by the bad teams.Dont think beatin Buffalo would give us the momentum we need to go into the playoffs but hell stranger things have happened what do i know. These two loses have got me all messed up.Im gonna go puke now.
