I've stated I like Pennington as a leader and for all his other attributes. And he's winning, so it's certainly hard to argue with that. And right now he's really our only option, so it's almost pointless to argue over all this stuff also.

But I honestly think that if it weren't for the shovel pass to Washington, in which he picked up all those yards (44?) for us with that late run, we might not have won the game. And if you throw in the proposterously idiotic decision on Saban's part to not go for it on 4th down, especially when the run was working really well against us at that time, and we lose 17-10 or maybe even 17-3.

The whole world would be looking different this morning.

he made throws in NE in the rain, he made throws at Gb in the freezing cold, the other night was almost a monsoon. The facts are when Chad plays we win and when he doesn't we lose. Chad is coming off 2 shoulder surgeries, he'll be better next year and he has been the main reason we are 9-6 and likely headed to the playoffs AND he's doing so w/o a running game. he has been amazing this year and it amazes me how many bashers there are but you guys need someone to be the scapegoat now that Herm is gone.

It's downright hyterical that Chad is now being criticized for receivers getting YAC.

The ONLY true knock on Chad is whether he can stay healthy or not. In years he's played at least 3/4 of games we have gone to the playoffs every time(assuming we win Sunday) and in years he has not we have won a total of 10 games in 2 years. The man wins games and is the biggest reason we are on the verge of another playoff appearance.

Junc, now realize I am usually always on Penny's side, but his performance on Monday was horrible even in the rain, remember if that Dolphin CB knows how to catch we aren't talking as kindly right now, Chad during the entire game made 4 good throws from what I remember, and as for the season while it is nice that he is healthy, his decision making has been way below average for him this year with a TD/INT ratio of 16/16

Come on guys, the 100 or so YAC that Washington had on Sunday were not meaningful from a QB perspective. When Chad starts hitting WRs in stride and they take off to the races like Montana and Manning then we can talk about YAC. Not screens and shovel passes where a RB makes 5 guys miss and takes it for a big gain.

Other than Mangini, CHAD is the reason we are 9-6 this year. If you want a qb with a cannon let bring back Vinny or Jeff George cuz Im sure they put up more wins than The Chad.

I love how people want him benched or cut or whatever for three quarters and then he orchestrated two drives like he did. I know he should have been picked twice and there have been too many INT's, but he has usually made the throws he's had to make when he needed to. He seems to do his best when his back is against the wall. He is our Rocky.

No he isn't he has been bad for himself this year, the reason is the improvement of the oline and the emergence of our WR duo, now he's helped but other than the first few weeks of the season, he has been bad

his 1st half performance was horrible, he stepped up in the 2nd half. That Cotch TD drive was spectacular w/ basically our season on the line.

Chad is the #1 reason we are 9-6, Mangini is #2. W/o Chad we have about 4 wins right now.

Absolutely. I think its actually, the coach first -- but -- there is no way you can argue that without Chad we'd be in a lot of trouble.
