Glenns job is to coach up players and get the most out of them, non of those players even showed up last game even the good ones.

There was a kickoff late in the game where it looked like Davis caught it one yard into the end zone then ran it out. Obviously he should have downed it in the EZ if he could have.

But it was close to landing in the landing zone and maybe Davis thought it did or would.

    Here's my q:

If Davis lets the ball hit the ground and it lands in the LZ and then it rolls into the EZ, does he have to down it or does it automatically come out to the 20?

Also, as the kick off team can't move until the ball hits the ground in any case, its highly likely that the KR can down it if he has to.

I've seen several cases already where KR's returned balls that appear to be going into the EZ on a fly if allowed. Any thoughts on this?

You're not wrong! Although I would argue that Fields is much more of a running threat.

What a wonderful draft for QB's 2021 was. Talk about a bad year to tank !

It's shocking to me how both NY teams have been so down for so long. If you're a 20 year old Jets fan all you have ever known is misery. I have to admit that 20 year old me probably would have moved on to another team by now.

At least I have gotten to experience a couple of Division titles and 4 AFCCG appearances in my lifetime.

Giants won a superbowl since the Jets last made the playoffs I wouldn't call that down and out, the Jets are down and out and will continue to do so until Woody sells the team which may not be for another 350 years. I am convinced that the Jets will never make the playoffs again until Woody sells the team.

Well, what galls me the most is having that ass Clemons still on the team. AG either you have accountability or you don't .... putting him in at all was BS and he should have beeen sent to the locker room. What are you going to do if he F up again which he will...

If this team comes out flat again next week and performs in a similar fashion, then this regime will already be in the hot seat.

We are very familiar with your views about Woody. Point is, he will never, ever sell the team, even upon death. So if you are strongly convinced on your hypothesis, and you rightfully root for your team to be a super ball winner, then you need to change teams.Repeating the same issue here on every other thread is not necessary. We have all read it a million times. Don’t wast an ounce of energy on something no one can fix but Woody.

He is pouring all his energy on film review, going over every single detail of that debacle before he makes any decisions. Bunch of errors across the board. Clemons move was an absolute momentum killer for us. His lack of awareness is not helping us, but with JJ on the injury list for now our choices are limited. I don’t see him surviving long. We cant release every one, but we should at least start benching players for bone head moves.

I've been a fan since I was 10 years old in1960. This marks 65 years. Am I eligible for an extra social security check for being a fan of this team for so long???

I think you're wrong. There is enough talent on this team to win (maybe not against the Bills.) All the Jets need is a good QB. A good QB can make up for a lot of sins.

You think he’s supposed to get the most out of them each week? That’s what I said. They’re historically bad and inconsistent players. Sounds like you’re asking him to turn them into something they’re not otherwise you don’t think he’s doing a good job. As long as you can admit you’re asking him to do something no other coach can do, then fine. You can’t turn water into wine.

I'm really going to show my age here. If I'm A.G. I'm standing in the shower, looking to the sky, as I let the stench of that loss wash off and I'm asking (ala John Quade in the old Clint Eastwood movie Every Which Way But Loose), "God, you made other men out of clay, why'd you have to make mine out of shit?"

Hilarious line from a hilarious movie but, sadly, there's nothing hilarious about it when reference the majority of the players on this team.

I find it fun to just blame Woody Johnson for the loss whenever they're wearing green pants.

    Garrett Wilson is bad?
    Sauce Garden is bad?
    Quinnen Williams is bad?
    Breece Hall is bad?

Non of them showed up either last game, it seemed like the whole team got drunk the night before.

If it lands in the LZ and rolls into the end zone he has to down it to answer your question.

And yes it would go out to the 20. But you must down or return anything that goes in the LZ
