I hope that he doesn't get cancer, COPD, emphysema, or any heart issues from smoking. While I have little respect for him, I still don't wish any harm to befall him. I'm an optimist in many ways and keep hoping that people will learn, change and grow up.

Sometimes we need to stop and realize that all of us here share one thing in common: we want our Jets to win. Of course we widely disagree on how that can best happen, and we're all passionate about those beliefs, if we weren't we wouldn't spend time on a board like this. Speaking for myself, admitting to being an opinionated person, my reaction when someone disagrees with me is to double down on my argument, but I also have to admit that posting here has taught me that I don't know as much as I thought I did, and it has caused me to suppress that first, kneejerk reaction - sometimes. I still do react, but even than, after a few back and forths, I sometimes catch myself. Of course, I'm not perfect, but none of us is. I just want to say that I appreciate the knowledge I've picked up here, even if I don't always express that appreciation, and hopefully those who get so worked up about what others post take a step back and reflect on the fact that no matter how passionately you state your opinion, in the end that's all it is, and opinion.
