I'm going to agree with this one. I don't know about adding anyone now, but how can you not acknowledge that Greene going down and LT not being able to carry the load is a legitimate concern. And seriously, what else is there to talk about right now?
I'll admit my thoughts were also coming from a Fantasy Point of view and I also heard this repeated on a Fantasy Football radio show - and you have to realize that from a Fantasy POV, when you look for opportunities for some "no name" or little regarded RB at the time who shows up Every single year out of no where, you start with the best OL in football... You also look at a 2nd year RB an injury past backed up by an aging star THE JETS is where you start to think of Opportunty..... Obviously, when presented on a Fan site people get their panties all wadded up as if the scenario can't take place... Lots of dumbass responses in this thread IMO. We'll see.... And It's not as if one or both of the guys need to go down for the year - If Greene simply has a nagging hammy or toenail and too much is put on LT or vice versa, NY will be scouring the wires.....
BTW... I was a phone caller on that show Thursday night, name used at FBG is Rovers, and I questioned McNabb's ranking this year. :beer: I think the question of Greene's durability is a legit one. We just don't know yet. I think C Washington is probably as good as any FA RB we might be able to get. No doubt, Tomlinson was wearing down in SD, he started missing playoff games, etc. I think his ceiling is 15 touches, any more than that would not be a good thing. He has lost a step, but behind this O line he's fine for about 10 touches a game I figure. I think the odd man out will be Woodhead, as he is limited to being a role player, a very small role, while Washington is a much better all around RB. Connor is here to replace Richardson, he's a FB, not an RB in the NFL. In FF, if I were to draft Greene, my handcuff would be Washington, not Tomlinson.

I don't post nearly as much here as I used to. It's TGG cool, don't ya know to flame the shit out of people. This place was different a few years ago. Instead of just saying something useful, they like to attack like a pack of rabid chihuahuas fighting over who can be the most disresectful and aggressive, gnarly little buggers with small sharp teeth. I actually had a screenname before this and have been here since "forever" mostly as a lurker and I used to visit and contribute to the Draft forum more - I find it more "serious". Always a fan of Jabba Jet and most of the people in there. And not to pick on this Board alone... Rovers, we're getting old ; ) I see it a lot... I've been on message boards since right after Al Gore invented the net. It's all come full circle - We told these jokes 10-15 years ago - The kids today are just getting started I guess. I look less for Cliques and "scoring message board points" these days and more for whatever info I need with the least BS.... FBG board is pretty good for keeping it real.
