Yeah, they teased me last Thursday. I feel like if we win in AZ we are off and running. I say that because i see Will McDonald getting better. I saw ONE great play by Micheal Clemons (come on guys, that was his highlight play and it was big) Most importantly I saw Rodgers/ Adams/ Wilson start to dazzle. Shame on me. So, it's foolish to say they'll make the playoffs, but I am holding out for one more week to write them off.

You could say this explains my fandom for oh so many years.

I voted yes solely b/c I think this team will get to 9-8 and the rest of the AFC blows. As miserable as everything has been the last 6 weeks, they are 2 fucking kicks from being 5-4 or 3 kicks from 6-3. I am not saying they are a good team whatsoever. It's more so how bad the rest of the AFC is after KC and Baltimore. The Jets are going to be favorite in every game except @ Buffalo. Outside of Buffalo, LAR and Seattle are the 2 toughest games on their schedule IMO and its both West coast teams coming east coast at 1 pm and seattle we are off a bye week.

I think this team is super flawed and their CS is probably the 2nd worst in the league after the Raiders, but I do think 9-8 is possible based on the rest of their schedule and the talent the roster has.

Damn some of you need to take off the Green blinders.

How many times do you have to see the Jets get their heads handed to them before you start dealing in reality?

What about this team even suggests that they can go 6-2 over their last 8? There's no consistent play on this team. None. They couldn't run off 3-4 wins a row to save their lives. And suddenly you think they're going 6 out of the last 8? LOL That's delusional at best.

Here's my prediction. The Jets are going to the desert this weekend. They are going to lose that game and probably get boat raced. These late afternoon West coast games never end well for this team. I'm saying they lose by 10+ this weekend.

Then the season will be officially over, and if anyone says they will then go 6-1 to close the season, you need to do everyone a favor and check in to the Looney Bin asap!

This weekend's game is the season. Make n mistake. They either survive to live another week or they stick a fork in it. They should be in full tank mode if they lose this game.

Outside of Pittsburgh, what games over the last 6 weeks did they get their heads handed to them? I'll hang up and listen.

What games did they win is the question you should be asking. Close losses amount to jackshit. It doesn't matter if they're close or blowouts, all they remember is what your record is.

Another problem with Jets homers. Trying to make an argument that even though they lost games, they were close losses. Moral victories are so lame.

I'll gladly wait for you to keep making failed predictions. You're saying that they will make the playoffs. I say they won't even be in playoff consideration in December.

    That's the difference.

Solid take, I disagree with it, but I see your points and they are good.
I just think our overall suck factor will keep us below 7 wins optimistically.
I know suck factor is super scientific.

Nice deflection. Can't even backup your asinine statement after being called on it.

I think the team stinks by the way. I just think the rest of the AFC stinks more.

For sure. They haven't done anything at all to think otherwise. It would be total Jets fashion to get to like 7-8 and then need to beat Buffalo and Miami their final 2 only to lose @ Buffalo by 30 week 17 lol.

The only one deflecting here is you. I backed up my statement and told you they won't have a chance after this weekend. You tried to get cute and wordsmith my statement about their heads being handed to them. I replied that regardless of the final score they got their heads handed to them because if you have a 3-6 record including losing 5 in a row that is getting your ass handed to you. Nice try though trying to be a wiseass.

You just wrote that you think the Jets are going 9-8. I'm telling you right here and right now that you are dumb as fuck for making that prediction. The Jets stink more than most of the AFC and their record proves it.

You think they're going 6-2 in the final 8 games. That's laughable. I'll circle back to remind you how dumb of a statement that is.

If I had to guess at the halfway point of the season. I would say it will most likely be, BUF, BAL, HOU, KC as the division winners. The WC will most likely be PIT, LAC, DEN. At least that is how it is looking at this point.

haha I hate Woody but I actually think its an awesome name.

Its a nickname in honor of D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Considering he's Robert Wood Johnson (the zillionth) and his dad is "Woody", being named "Brick" after D'brickashaw its much better and kinda cool IMO :)

Nah fuck the Johnsons and the lead in the baby formula. Until they are gone this team will suck.

No need to. You said the Jets will finish 9-8 this season. I can't take you seriously after that outlandish, delusional comment.

Jim Mora and Allen Iverson.... Quotes that will live in infamy.

btw... the JETS should probably practice harder if they want to make the playoffs
