Eli and the Giants were incredibly lucky, but Plaxico was a big reason for the luck going their way. Plaxico was stupid , but his actions should clearly not brand him in the same category as Vick, or some of the other examples being cited here.
To be fair, Eli had a dominant NFC Championship game in some of the toughest conditions that you can play a football game in at Lambeau. He and Burress could not be stopped. The Giants defense deserves all the credit in the world for handling the Pats in the Super Bowl, but they wouldn't have even gotten there without Manning.
