They go way overboard with the whole thing going it for 25% of the regular season. One week would be fine.

    This is stupid.

From this pink crap, the charities only get like 15% of the proceeds...It's kinda pathetic.

Totally agreed. Pink does not belong in football games. It also seems that breast c (I don't want to type the full word) is the only sickness we should be aware of. My mother recently passed away from uterine c, which became ovarian c and spread, etc. Shouldn't we be aware of that also. In addition, the phrases are juvenile: "Save the tatas". Give me a break. I purposely avoid donating any money to breast c research b/c I figure they are overly financed compared to other charities.

That picture says it all, but listen to his accent when he raps and his clown ass lyrics. Dude couldn't rap himself out of a wet paper bag, and bites not only lyrics but entire songs from other MCs like 2pac. The fact that every single song is about women is a dead give away he's trying too hard to hide something... not that there's anything wrong with being gay. Plus he got beat up a bunch of times. Now he claims wearing pink makes him a real man?? Ha!

This is a men's sport, so maybe they should be supporting prostate c awareness instead of breast c awareness.

Maybe they should promote men's health improvement - eating right, staying in shape, etc. Then again, that wouldn't support sitting on the couch 15 hours/week watching football and drinking beer and eating assorting other garbage food while watching football.

That's weak. If the NFL REALLY cared, they'd be giving much more than that. Afterall they are a multi billion dollar company. They can afford it. Nothing annoys me more than mega corporations begging the common folk for money, when they have enough to actually make a difference in the world, but instead choose to line their pockets, buy 10 houses, 20 cars and a yacht, and all kinds of material crap.

its a great idea if it actually does something to help fight breast cancer. but if its just more posturing by the nfl like the pink sweatbands are - then i say enough is enough. cancer research costs money - not pink penalty flags.

Breast cancer kills just 14% more than prostate cancer yet it recieves more than double of the funds given to prostate cancer research...just throwing that out there. Maybe brown flags next year I don't know.

Which is why I've always viewed this types of moves as publicity stunts. These big organizations want so show the public how much they care because it improves their public image & it always works. So much talk in the public media with how they spend an extremely small amount of their funds.

I believe a little kid mailed a letter to Roger about this? And the kid is going to hand the flags to the refs? That's pretty cool. I believe it's only in the NYJ/MIA game but I have no problem with it.

Maybe getting a pink flag throw at them will help a few of the Jets from making boneheaded penalties.

Anybody critical of this is just plain wrong. Its for a good cause and what do you really care what color the penalty flags are? When one of you has a relative that comes down with breast cancer, let's see how you feel.

And this on a board where people talk with excitement over the actual and potential colors of throwback jerseys!!!!!! At least this is not changing the Jets colors. The Titans throwbacks are ridiculous and are only used so the Jets and the NFL can make more money. This is for a charity for a horrible disease. Get a life!

It's football and we like it a certain way. Nobody here has anything against raising money for charities. We just don't like it stuffed in our faces repeatedly. Leave the pink out of football!
