I LOVE how so many people expend so much energy "ripping" a bad coach. he was "mediocre" an "idiot" a "liar"....The list goes on and on. It reminds me of a guy that's always b*tching about his ex-girl because he really misses her. It's ok guys. You can admit that you crawl up in the fetal position whining "you play to the win the game". I know you miss him but he's not coming back. You got a new girl now. Just move on.
I love how people tell other people where and what to post and when to move on.... Herm was a Jet coach for 5 years, I follow most if not all former Jets to see what they do..... Why do people who get bothered so much by others discussing Herm even open the thread is the question
Weekend update? Wasnt that when tina fey and fallon were doing it? The show started being terrible long before then...
this coming from a guy who has already said manigin is gonna fail this year....but you still love that herm huh...number one jets fan?????interesting.........and 3 out of your 7 reasons the jets will suck this year was head coaching...brilliant dude....keep defending herm
herm is the one that used hackett and cotrell as scapegoats...what is wrong with you people?????????/
Tina Fey? That talentless, unfunny chick with the pointy nose? The land shark bit was LOOOOOONG before her. Back in the mid-to-late 1970's.
well... as 1 of the idiots that come here.. I guess the HC that took us to the playoffs 3 out of 5 yrs ...gets knocked for not winning the super bowl those yrs.. In other words, I give Edwards little credit for the team making the playoffs, and definitely blame him for us losing when we were in the playoffs... But I am an idiot
Getting your team into team into playoffs 3-5 times is horrible, u guys are right Herm was a horrible coach who should have gotten our qb getting injured half the time.
LOL, that's hillarious. Like coordinators never get fired. The funniest thing about people who say this is that 99% of Jets fans wanted Cotrell gone, 99.99999999999999999% of Jets fans wanted Hackett gone. Now they were just scapegoats.
If you're going to say he would have made it in 2005 if it were not for injuries, I am going to say he shouldn't have made the playoffs over his five-year tenure. 2001: lucky 53-yard field goal. 2002: Pats beat the Fins when they had nothing to play for. 2004: Pittsburgh beats Buffalo, again, with nothing to play for. I think we can say this for sure: Herman Edwards is a good man. He is a competent coach. He is not a great coach. He is not the man of integrity he makes himself out to be.
