The number 370 is the number that has been shown to make a difference. It doesn't have to make sense to you.

The proof is in the pudding.

You're trying to disprove a rule by bringing up things that don't even fit into the rule.

Like I said, what's the point? You're going to say you were right either way.

    There is no proof!

Are you really going to crow about 365-369 carries? Are 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 carries really going to make a difference? Don't you understand how convenient the number 370 was for FO?

I'm going to say I was right either way?!!!? Huh?

If he has a poor season, you'll say it was because of his teammates.

If he has a good season, you'll claim that the 370 carry rule is invalid because he had a good year.

Of course it was convenient, because that's where they could point to a consistent across-the-board decline.

They never explained why it's 370 carries, and why preseason carries or catches are not counted. They don't have to. All you need to do is look at the numbers. All they needed to do was point to them.

If you want to ignore the numbers, that's your prerogative.

I'm not ignoring numbers. In some cases, they are correct. Players ran more than 370 times in a season and then they got injured the following season.
There are other times when a guy ran more than 370 times and did not get injured.

    The "rule" is already invalid.

I have zero reason to suspect Johnson suffered severe damage last year, that Herman Edwards ruined Johnson last season, as you and FO believe.

If he gets injured, I'm not putting it on him having 416 carries in 2006.

and? Players won't always get injured. But they'll almost always either get injured, suffer a noticeable decline, or both.

This is ridiculous. I'm going to watch football. This is going to be just like our other arguments and just like your recent bit with NJRaider.

I know. Like I said, you're going to say you were right either way.

Which is what makes this pointless. Like I've said five times.

NJRaider still owes me a sig.

I like making bets to prove my points, and I don't lose.
