ive never heard a player get so much praise for basically intentionally making out.

 

I'll give him a little credit - he was so outclassed on the first pitch and the awful bunt, that trying to make a productive out in that case was probably the right idea.

 

But making outs is what you want from an ideal #2 hitter, apparently.

 

Delgado brings in the third run. Nice to see him hit the ball hard twice.

 

Sac fly gives us the lead! one of the few times we've done that lately

 

I mean its better then a strikeout sure. I just think it's a little early in the game to be playing for a 1 run lead with sac bunts/"giving yourself up"
