In the first Superbowl loss to the Giants, Brady led the Pats down the field to give them the lead with 2 minutes left, hitting moss for what would have been the game-winning TD. Then David Tyree happened. IMO, he handled that relentless pass-rush about as well as he could have.

Plus "handling" pressure also means you don't act like a whiny fucking pussy everytime a defender breathes on you.

Well, yeah. I mean, demeanor is demeanor. And regardless, you can't really say it has had much effect on maintaining winning composure.

How can u be sure? If Tom played in the rules elsewhere he'd be long out of the league by now. His success is frqudulent

Even the mASSpulpit folks have to write about how bad Brady is under pressure

    http://www.patspulpit.com/2015/7/18...back-tom-brady-still-struggles-under-pressure

See this years work as more proof band POOF

IMO, Brady has been considerably better under pressure than Manning has, overall.

This is a false idea. Brady was a 6th round pick and 199 overall. He fell into place in New England and won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. You just assume if he was drafted elsewhere that everything would have went his way too? There are a lot of factors at play. He may never have started a game in his entire NFL career. Many franchises are toxic. Setting their QB's up to fail all the time. You can say he is competitive and had the drive so he would have eventually succeeded, but I don't think it is that easy. I think the better odds are we don't even know his name right now. However, everything did fall into place for Brady and he has developed into a great QB, so we will never truly know what would have happened. Peyton on the other hand: drafted by the Colts. Would have succeeded on any team he went to.

    1) I'm not sure that what you wrote has any bearing on my comment that, to my eyes, Brady has been better under pressure than Manning has. It's almost as if you meant to quote another one of my posts.

    2) Anyway, as for your comments, I don't find them particularly convincing. Joe Montana was a 3rd round pick. Staubach was a 10th round draft pick in the NFL and a 16th round draft pick in the AFL. All of these players fell into the right place at the right time and all needed a little bit of luck to get a chance. But, you know what? I think that argument could be made about any player who has ever had success for any sustained period of time, no matter when he was drafted. All players need to be in a place that works for them. But, what Brady and Manning both unquestionably had from the beginning was a drive to succeed that many players talk about having, but few players actually do.

I get it, guys. It's fun to troll Pats fans. And obviously, there is nothing wrong with thinking Manning is better. Both guys are unbelievably better than anything the Jets have ever had. But, let's not pretend that we actually believe Brady sucks. Lying, cheating fuck? Indeed. All-time great QB? Indeed.

    Anyway, carry on.

I trust you understand the irony of that statement.
