Peter King looks like Chief Wiggums from the Simpsons, and has about as much credibility when it comes to anything other than opinions. I'm surprised he can manage in a word at all choking on Brady and Bellichick's labium.
Well there ya go. Born in Mass and raised in western Ct. Ok, so at least he's being a homer for the team he grew up rooting for. I just wish he could be a bit more like Paul Zimmerman and mask his affiliations better. Or alternately just come right out and say he's a big Pat's fan and hates the Jets.
That's because we blow leads. It's a lot better to blow leads and win close games than to be behind and fall short and lose. If you're ahead and can still pull out a win chances are you're going to win more games. We're going to win this game, circle Nov 12 on your calendars, because that is going to be our real test.
I don't think it is too much to ask him to at least pretend he likes us... well ok maybe it is. But like you said, just be upfront about it. Its not like he is fooling anyone.
I like Peter King. He really is very knowledgable. Way more than most reporters. He may have a stick up his ass for the Jets, but he is still one of the best to listen too. I liked his apperance in the jungle a few days ago. no Jets talk, but interesting just the same.
Im not going to go and rip all over the Browns and thier high powered offense. We all know even the suckiest teams can put up some big numbers from time to time , but get the hell out of here! The Rodney Dangerfields of football have to prove again that we do have a real good team, a delveloping team but a good one no doubt. Even the writers down in FLA where i live have picked the Browns to win. Last week they picked detriot and the week before they picked the dolphins. I think we are going to have are way with these guy''s. I look at all the improvments the jets have made and worked up to and we will show what we are made of!! Jets 38-17............
HEY didnt we already have our stinker game in Jacksonville or did I miss something. There should be no trap games for the Jets because were just not that good of a team yet. THEY HAD BETTER PLAY THIER BUTTS OFF. I dont want to here trap game.
Maybe, but I don't think we've played well enough yet for many people to really consider this a trap game. If we had been dominating opponents so far, I could see it, but I think they know they have to play hard and will come out focused. Doesn't mean we'll win for sure, but we should win this game.
I just read Simmons(sports guys) weekly picks and he took Cleveland too, after ranking them the 29th best team in the NFL. I don't get it, I'm almost positive the Jets are going to go there and win.
Eh, it's the popular upset pick of the week. Even the general opinion on this board has been that this game is "scary". This is the pick that the experts think make them geniuses the following Monday, if they got it right.
Although ESPN's experts have it 8-0 Jets. Kinda scary. The national media can never figure the Jets out.
