LOL. I missed it the first time, but two cups of coffee have helped. I think your sense of humor may be too much for all the negative people around here to understand.
San Diego had the worst pass D in the league and held New England to less than 200 yards passing. Teams have good games, the Bengals keyed our run, it happens.
I would give Brett a pass on maybe both of those int's for these reasons. The first was a tipped pass,,once that happens its anybodys ball. It just happend to land in the opponent's hands. The other was a pass across the field that in hindsight, had it not been thrown, could have been 3 points on the 4th down field goal try. However getting picked at the 3 yard line is far better than trying to punt the ball and down it at the 3......
1st off I don't care what this fat bitter bastard has to say. He is the same clown who called Mangini a rat and then ripped Mangini for signing Chatam away from the Cheats but had no problem with Crennel signing McGinest. His opinion is worthless. I can punch holes in 9 of his top 10. All I know is the Giants are a clear cut #1 at this point and then everybody is from #2 down to 20 is all in the mix. This is where he loses all credibility 9. San Diego (3-3). Fairly predictable result last night. Chargers have a quarterback you can trust. Patriots don't. 11. (tie) New England (3-2). They play Denver on Monday night and St. Louis the following Sunday, both in Foxboro. Then, for the 89th straight year, Pats and Colts play on the first Sunday of Sweeps Month (November, for all you non-TV-o-philes) So lemme get this right, New England doesn't have a QB you can trust? Yet you still think they are a border line top 10 team? Is it that game changing running game? Is it that one nice pass he has thrown to Randy Moss? Or is it that aweosme Defense that is shutting down everybody? Oh none of those..... exactly what I thought. He even goes out of his way to throw this shot in.... Uh, Jets? Don't go patting yourselves on the back too hard after that, ahem, uneven performance against the Bengals. Really so the Titans your #2 team played a great all around game against the Bengals? If not for the Favre fumble and the one drive they had the Jets D pitches a shutout. Don't even take into account that the Bengals shouldn't have even had a 1st goal but with some help of awful officiating got inside the 5.
Guys, I am very dissapointed in some of you. Ugly win? It's a win. It has feelings and dreams, and sometimes just wants to be your friend. Sure, a pretty win you can take out and show it off to your friends and even enemies. You wake up in the morning ready to stick around and make that pretty win a good old-fashioned breakfast. You shouldn't treat an ugly win any different. Don't rush out the door struggling to get your Klecko jersey on without waking it. Telling your friends at least it was a win. Be proud Jet fans. You got a win. And that beats the heck out of beating yourself.
I'm not complaining about the way we won, so much as the factors that made it an ugly win being problems that aren't corrected week after week. Every week it's a weak rushing attack and a subpar passing defense in the clutch.
Peter King has the whiniest voice I've ever heard. He has a wife and kids so maybe he's not gay, but if thats the case his infatuation with Brett Favre is the result of being a psychological mess. He's like a sidekick from superhero comics.
Peter King was born in Massachusetts and is a Pats lover, we all know he HATES the Jets. Its just more reason to enjoy how the Pats are playing right now.
:jets:its the jets no matter what happens someone will try to tear them down.next week it'll be well you beat a team thats a mess with a rookie hc and inexperienced qb.then a k.c. team that mite be the worst in the league.then if we beat buf it'll be well maybe buf is overrated.if we win the division it'll be well brady was out for season.so we deal with it and hope we win the whole fucking thing:jets:
