Yea it's too bad they scored 14 points in the 3rd quarter! Get a fucking life...seriously. You are absolutely pathetic
First off CMAN, the reason why I mentioned Montana in the "same sentence" as Chad is because many have compared Chad to JM as far as physical similarities, accuracy, smarts, and arm strength, nothing more. JM's arm strength was good not great, nor did it have to be with the players he had supporting him. Also, if you believe JM would have more success running the O on this present group of Jets players than would Chad, more power to you, but I don't think so. Not with this OL. Regarding 2-300 yd games and long term and 2002 form, based on what I've seen so far Chad is throwing bettter than ever. If he stays on the field for all 16 games, he will have a HUGE season, take it to the bank. Who knows if the Jets will be better than 2002? Chad will not be blamed for it by me, in any event. But I'm sure if the Jets go 6-10 you'll find some way to blame him for it.
you have no case. even the press referrred to him as such. you and some of the others name-call any poster who doesn't agree with the football world as you see it. i referenced posters , not players. try to pass english the next time you repeat the course.
That reminds me of the 2004 excuse. No wining teams. As I recall we did play and beat quite a few then. There's no reason why we can't this year. Also the Pats are a good team as we all know. And even though we did not win that game Chad's numbers were fantastic. It's like Mangini said, You can't always dig yourself out of a large first half hole no matter how well you play. I think you should be focusing on our defense a tad more than our offense. You are concentrating on all the wrong areas.
that's a good point. it seemed like the defense played much better after robeertson was replaced by mosley and moore at nt. do you think robertson should start just because he has a high salary?
Wrong, only YOU have compared JM with CP since 2002. Those comparisons kinda went by the wayside a few years back. Moving right along, if the Jets go 6-10 and Chad plays 16games, not only will I blame Chad for it, I'd by him a drink if I could! I had the team penciled in at 4-12/5-11 max. If they win 6 games with no running game, you damn right Chad gets the credit. 2-300 yd games don't mean squat in the big picture. Playing 16 games for the first time in his career is much more important. Especially with the beating he's about to take this season. IMO, that's waay more impressive than 2-300 yd games at the beginning of the season..
Ben Roethlisberger has put up a donut tonight through 3 quarters. Any coincidence that their running game has also been non-existant? Look at how Hasselbeck did last week against Detroit with no run game. 9 points. And the Lions D is no Patriots D. But I guess that's too much logic to register. Chad should be Superman putting on a one-man show against the Pats, who tend to shut down the best QBs in the league like they were high schoolers. BTW, it was 24-14 after 3 quarters.
Mr nyjet other than noodle arm every day what do you bring to the board????.........................................nothing
Okay, I have done the exhaustive research. It has been determined that the Jets were trailing 24-14 after three quarters. Thankfully, we now have closure.
seattle won the game. ben has a ring. there are other qbs who put on one-man shows and win. we just don't have one of those.
I would like to see a list. But don't put any false information in it, like you did with the Patriots-Jets score.
Seattle won against Detroit. Isn't your big gripe that Chad doesn't beat winning teams? Is Detroit a winning team? If you give Hasselbeck props for barely beating Detroit, why do you discount Chad's win against the Titans? You can't have it both ways. Roethlisberger had an amazing defense and a dominant running game. Tonight he has had that defense. The only difference has been the running game. Look at what he has done tonight. You can't discount what the QB has around him.
