Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana Chad Pennington & Joe Montana  C'mon CMan, nobody on here believes he's the second coming of Montana anymore, but he has put together 2 very good games. All this talk about his stats being padded. Puhleazzze... good NFL QB's benefit from that every week. Someone had to make those throws, and Chad did. You can't discount that.
No, he looks like the Chad of 2002. A good focused leader with excellent accuracy in the short passing game and a deceptively strong deep move on the few occasions he uses it. He also panics now and then and takes a sack or runs out of bounds. That's also vintage 2002.
 it's like they have selective memory. by the end of the third quarter ( 24-0), i kept expecting bollinger to enter the preseason game. he could have done better- but he was up in minny.
that would apply to you. he's only a caretaker while the rebuilding is done and clemmens is ready to step in. mangini talks about him like tuna did about neil o'donnell before he was cut and replaced by vinny.
 Jetzz, tsk, tsk, tsk... You've been hitting the Chad Juice too huh? Shame on you man... Now, those two YACS did wonders for Chad's stats ok? I could see if the score was say, 17-10 or even 17-7 before those plays but the score was 24-0. Chad didn't do much the first 3 qtrs to even rate a Ken O'Brien comparison, let alone a Joe Montana comparison. He has put together two decent games against a weak opponent (Tenn) and a better opponent (NE). With no running game, he has to throw and his stats will reflect that but the bottom lines is points which for 3 qtrs, for whatever reason, Chad didn't get us any. Not even into FG range. Those two plays accounted for almost a third of Chad's passing yardage. For once, the Jets got lucky. Its a long season man and if the Chad juicers think he's gonna keep ringing up 300yd games, more power to them. I'll just sit back and watch how things unfold before I endorse putting Chad into the running for MVP..
 I'm just itching to break that bottle open and take a big swig, it's true. As far as the shoulder goes and his ability to run the offense, the guy is back pretty solid so far. Especially given the lack of talent around him. Fortunately, the WR corps is picking up a good piece of the slack. Coles and Cotch have both had a pair of good/great games. The only thing that keeps me from downing that juice is the fact that he's (Chad) getting pounded on left and right both weeks. I'm still on the fence on durability, but we will see.
We had 0 rushing first downs in this game. That means Chad was the one moving the chains for the offense all day. Yet you guys still kill him. How many 2nd and 3rd & longs did he pull off? 11-18 on third down, all passing. Sure his points came via two superior plays, but up to that point, what little life was coming from the offense was all coming from him. I was down on Chad going into the year as well but he has performed so far. You can't face the Pats with 0 running game and expect the QB to play lights out. It's just not going to happen.
Sorry, but Chad is here for as long as he is healthy. He's a good enough QB that he won't end on the pine for an unproven product.
Just so you know, every person on every board you're on is convinced your a 2nd grader with big time ADD. And I'm really not just saying that. I think it's pretty sad a little faggot such a yourself literally gets off on making the dumbest comments known to man. He throws for 300+ yards 2 weeks in a row with asbolutely no running game. I guess you were busy sucking off Clemens when that was going on
:shit: first, you are the faggot , sucking off the chad p.r. which he learned from herm. he has a losing record against winning teams. deal with it, moron!
I don't know if they have a TV in day care, but if they do I hope you enjoy watching #10 for the next 5 years...because unfortunately for you, the Jets coaching staff actually has a full developed brain and realizes a franchise QB when they see one. Funny how Coles and McCareins have come out publicly and said Chad is an elite quarterback. But that's fine, you can continue picking splinters out of Clemens' ass for the next half decade you little parasite.
This is ridiculous. Nothing else explains the hate for the guy that youy have. Its ridiculous. HES BEEN PLAYING F**KIN GREAT!!!!!!!!! Its time you give up with your tired bullshit act.
yeah, he's great-that's why he sucked up $64 million of the cap, cost us talent we could not afford to re-sign, and shafted himself as the team had to go dumpster shopping for o-line which resulted in him being further injured. meanwhile, he has produced no championships. he even says himself that he only counts championships, not stats. so, by his own words, he has failed to be worth the money. but, you keep drinking the 2002 kool-aid.:drunk:
It's funny he says we're drinking the 2002 kool aid when he's actually playing better now than in 2002. Shows the intelligence we're dealing with...
Yeah i didnt have much expectations for him. he has always been tough and this year he coems back and puts up all the numbers. He has carried our offense without a runninggame and has been the reason we won game 1 and came back yesterday. Say what you want but Clemens wouldnt be doing that. If he had a decent running game wed be in the playoffs. So let your blind faith carry you, I plan on rooting for this team, and if Chad is our qb I will root for him.
Why are you laughing? Do you find yourself so irresistably amusing that you must end every post with that thing? I've said it before and I'll say it again. You bring nothing to the table.
