You claimed Rudi and Housh are wayyyyyy better than anything we got, which is clearly wrong

"someone decent to throw cotch the ball"---Not even going there

You underrate the importance of a good HC and coaching staff tremendously.......Mangini is/will be a great one

"You talk about a coach making a difference in a team?" (Curtis)Martin said. "Eric made a huge difference in this team. I learned more from him this year than I had in all my previous 11 years combined, and I didn't even play."

Yes their offense looks to be better than ours on paper.........but it did last year and where did it get them??? 8 and friggin 8 while we made the playoffs at 10-6 in the same conference!

Their Offense is better than ours. They at least have one good side of the ball. Palmer would have a fighting chance of beating the Chargers or Pats in a shootout. We can't win in a shootout of defensive game.

Houz is better than Coles at this point and Rudi and TJ are a wash. They also have a better O-line than ours as well. I absolutely do not underestimate a great Hc and coaching staff. I don't think there are five coaches in football that would have gotten us in the playoffs last year even with the luck we had. I would not want one person coaching the Jets right now other than Mangini. Not parcells or Beli. Our young team needs a young coach. They had a real sched last year.

And we have a better defense by far, a better special teams by far, a much better head coach........Which means we are the better TEAM........What don't you get?

The fact that their offense is way better than anything we throw on the field on either sides of the ball. Mangini can't play DT or Cornerback. He can't throw a ten yard out patter for us on a regular basis either. We are the better prepared team. Not the better one.

Yes, I think our players match up well and in some cases better than the Bungles. And I have a lot more confidence in our FO/HC than theirs as well. We draft clean cut, smart, hard working football players. Bengals players can be found on America's Most Wanted. In the long run we will be better served by having higher standards.

And in case you were napping last season we had 2 games (Pats & Colts) where it came down to a shootout. It wasn't our offense that lost us the game... it was the defense.

I hear Bengals have open spots for fans. Maybe you would rather be a tiger?

We scored six points in the second half of the playoff massacre in Ne last year. Yea Saint Pennington was lighting it up in that shootout. I see my team for what it is not what I want it to be. I don't have blind loyalty to any jet. My trust and respect as a fan is earned.

You want a won and done stomping for the Playoffs or a Championship. How do the Bengals Stack up at Qb and Wr. They have three proven stars for the future to build around we have Kerry Rhodes. Lewis will clean up that mess or somebody else will step in and fix it. We made the playoffs as the best of the scrubs. We got the standard first round ass k**king! Does that make you proud or would you prefer to have a stud Qb and two stud Wr for the future to look too?

We had a cake schedule last year, the Bengals have a crap Defense. They have a much better O than we do, Palmer is in a completely different class than Pennington and they have great WR's.

If you do not think Coles is proven, then you are mistaken.Yes, Chad is better, but it is a different system.

J-Co is just as good, if not better then TJ.

Lewis has had 4 years to clean it up...Last year, he said enough was enough....he failed.

We have 1 proven WR, 1 future stud, and alot of ???? at WR

As for Chad vs. Carson...Carson wins...

At RB, who knows what TJ will bring...Leon is coming of a rather impressive rookie campaign.

Not to mention our O-Line is very young.....

This is where I think you have gone off the track. I honestly believe the Jets have a very talented secondary and I mean very talented like top 5. If we can generate anything with the front 7 we will be much improved in defending the passing game of our opponents.

Benglas were one & done the last time they made the playoffs..Infact they haven't won a playoff game this century..

If you want to say we are in a different league than the Pats and Colts, I will support you.. It is when you throw in these underachieving teams like the Bengals where it really seems like you have an agenda against the Jets ans specifically Chad..

Their QB went down on the first pass play with a massive knee injury and the Bengals still played the SB champs tough as nails.

J-co could be just as good if not better than Tj if he had a better Qb throwing to him.
Coles is proven but he is not in the same Class as Johnson. It is not even close.
With good blocking Tj and Rudi are a wash
Our O-line is a work in progress that will get fixed.
At the end of the day Palmer and Chad Johnson makes their offense on a different level than ours. The kicker is their third Receiver Chris Henry might be better than all of them.

I understand that, it still has no relevance to the point I am making. How do you explain being the biggest underachieving team outside of the NYG in the NFL last year?

As of right now you or anyone else cannot make a case that they are closer to a SB than the Jets..

The TB bucks once had that Title with Tony Dungy and they had all the talent in the world. They ended up winning didn't they? They have to tools to get it done. The are not playing to their potential but at the end of the day they are better than us.

horrible comparison.. the TB Bucs made the playoffs like 4 years in a row and advanced before changing coaches and finally winning the big one..

The Bengals do not have the tools to get it done.. They have a great QB and a great WR.. Their D is horrible, their STs is nothing to get excited about. Their HC has instilled no discipline in that team and is alot closer to losing the team entirely than leading them to a SB. Their O even underachieved last year.

Not even close to the TB Bucs that ended up winning a SB. Let them win one playoff game before talking SB..
