"They are complete morons, they need a scapegoat and it's Chad and his arm that are taking the hits now. it used to be Herm but he's passed it down to Chad. These whiners always need someone to blame and amazingly it's not the coaching staff which they would have blamed if we had the staff of 2 years ago even though this staff currently is doing a worse job than the previous staff ever did."

That's personal? it is a broad statement about the Pennington complainers.

    Compare that post to this:

"I was specific to state I was talking about real life not you're fantasy internet life... And yeah just for the record again... NO ONE LIKES YOU... YOU ARE A FUN SINK... IF YOU WEREN'T RELATED TO YOUR FAMILY THEY'D HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU... enjoy knowing everyone is disgusted when you enter a room and rolls their eyes & talks about you when you leave...

    3. You make the board more interesting the way AIDS makes life more interesting... in the end it's just not worth the hassle"

We are discussing football on here, I criticize others opinions but I don't attack them personally. I really don't care about it but it sets a bad example and if we let people get away w/ statements like this it will only multiply and eventually ruin the board.

And you wonder why you're family would have nothing to do with you.

It's silly comments like this that drag the board down. I realize you aren't very knowedgable and struggle to keep up in discussions(much like ollie) but instead of posting personal attacks you should be paying attention so you learn something so in the future you can engage in intelligent discussions on the board.

the bad thing about the ignore function is that if someone quotes you I can still read your drivel...

I'm past the point of debating you on anything because you're a lonely attention whore who no one likes because you feed off drama...

I've never met you or spoken to you yet I know everything about you and what makes you tick... keep typing away & hope those awful childhood memories of getting beat up in gym class go away... they won't ... ever... but just keep hiding behind that keyboard...

Do not acknowledge me again and I won't acknowledge you... but if you continue to attack me & then make yourself into a victim when I swing back then I will continue to make an ass out of you every chance you give me... and I'm not talking about debating sports

We both know I'm hitting a real close to home... don't we?

My patience is wearing thin. People better start debating the topics of each thread. If you have a problem with someone take it to PM's or to the trashtalking forum.

You make an ass out of yourself everytime you post. it sounds like classic deflection, you are likely the one who was beat up as a child and you continue to get beat up on this board when it comes to sports discussions.

You ARE hitting close to home, just look in the mirror and you'll find it. I have no problem w/ idiots like yourself attacking me in any way, i just think you made an even bigger jerk out of yourself than we already know you are and it sets a bad example for others. I don't want this board to deteriorate into just personal attacks b/c folks like you lack the intelligence to engage in civil discussions. Just keep trying to debate w/ me and you'll continue to get beat up and look like the halfwit you are.

You keep saying Curtis like he was our only RB the our over all run game averaged more YPC in 01 than in 04 with the same OC but a different QB. The fact is in 04 the Jets probably had their overall best run blocking line with experience together and we still averaged more YPC in 01 with a completly washed up Vinny T who still beat out Chad as the starter.

In 01 we were 14th in rushing attempts 4th in yards and 3 in YPA. In 04 We were 3rd in attempts, 3 in yards and 4th in YPA. We ran the ball better per attempt in 01 in actualy yards and in comparative yards to the rest of the league than we did in 04.

because they never game planned for KC and knows our offense is based on running and short passing game. When they realised KC could kill them with the pass they back off. defensed stacked the box until they realised a gunner was back there.

Curtis carried it 90% of the time, I am not counting Lamont's runs in garbage time or Coles 10 reverses w/ a 10.8 YPC. Curtis was better in2004 w/ Chad at QB and his #s would have be better ha Chad not gotten hurt as they suffered in the 3 games Chad missed and strong armed Quincy played.

Someone other than Curtis Martin had 25% of the rushing attempts in 2001 and over 30% of the teams rushing attempts in 2004. Curtis never had 90% of the Jets rushing attempts. Nice try.

90% was an approximate #. of the RB carries Curtis had 83%- that's close enough to 90, isn't it? You don't use WR and QB runs, nice try.

Curtis was better in 2004 with Kareem McKenzie at RT and Pete Kendall at LG. That was probably our best O-line under Herm. That had more to do with Curtis' numbers that year than anything.

But wait herm and TB never addresed the OL and kendall and kareem were brought in by TB. That's what we were told by the herm/TB haters(now known as the Chad haters).

That's a whole other issue that I don't really care to discuss. All I know is that 2004 O-line was tremendous, and it had more to do with Curtis' success than who the QB was.

My last post was a little dig at the folks who complained TB never did anything for the OL but the 2001 Ol was very good as well. There wasn't alot of differences btw the 2 OLs.

Since when doesn't a reverse or a QB run not count as part of a teams rushing attack? Didn't Pennigton kill any chance of us winning against the Pats last year in the playoffs by throwing what was ultimately a running play?

They also let KMack and Becht walk without an offer. They blew the negiotations with Ferguson who they thought they had locked up and they ended up trading a first round pro bowl WR back to the Skins to get back Coles. they also screwed up the tender and lost a pick in the first Washington FA blitz on us.

the Kendall PU was a great PU but it wasn't a planed PU it was total outright luck. Sometimes you have to be lucky but the fact is they did address the OL the problem is they didn't pay attention to getting guys resigned until it was to late except in the case of Pennington who bluffed them into a dumb contract based on 3/4 of a season.
