And no one will ever argue against the fact that the Jets have been one of the biggest running jokes of a franchise for going on nearly 50 years.

Yes, it's doable, but with some many variables at play it would be very complicated. Then you would still be left with the subjective values of the person that put it together. This was also never the argument to begin with, the poster I was debating, was purely arguing that the Jets had more draft success than the Pats since 2000 and sited pro-bowlers as the measure. Based on that criteria he is simply wrong.

Not sure what this means, but I guess you felt like you had to jump into other peoples conversation. Oh and make no mistake, the joke is and has certainly been on Jet fans.

  5. Has their ever been a period of winning that’s garnered as little respect or credibility as the Patriots & their fans have??

Jets have the hope for tomorrow..Patriots have the lies, deception & false bravado of yesteryear.Hows it feel to know this is the best it’ll ever be & yet in almost a CRUEL twist of fate it’s just a myriad of treachery & controversy??

Yeah sure, there's no crybaby emoji, so you'll have to just imagine one. Enjoy that, "hope for tomorrow" thing. :D

Correct, I was trying to explain a better way to even make a comparison like that rather than just going by amount of pro bowlers. That was my point, the criteria was too simplistic.

Thinking about it loosely, it does seem that the Patriots drafted better (#1 example being Tom Brady even though it's before 2000), but again without really crunching the numbers, it's difficult to truly assess who drafted better (which is only one aspect of building a winning team).
