    Chances he doesn't even play a down for them? BB gave him millions for inside info on the Jets def. Last years playoff game has him doing anything to beat us

    Yet another brain surgeon chimes in.

    The Pats certainly have to consider the Jets when making moves because they are their top competition right now.

    That said, the idea that BB and the Pats are so obsessed with the Jets is laughable... considering that it's obvious Rex and the Jets are obsessed with the Pats. Rex can't go a week without saying something about them.

    I have a crazy idea.

    Maybe the jets are obsessed with the pats and the pats are obsessed with the jets. I mean they are going to be each others biggest superbowl obstacle for at least the next 3-4 years.

    The percentage increase in Jet fans here is concededly an issue. The question of how factually correct it is that 90% of Pats fans didn't even know what a football looked like before 2001 is not.

    It is true.

    It had more to do with the coach, I would guess a lot joined when Parcells came too.

    There's always going to be signings as years go by. However, you do notice how many patriot "fans" couldn't tell you who was the quarterback before drew bledsoe. Even better, where they played before Gillette stadium.

    I hope it takes Ellis half the season to be 100% and when we play the Pats I want him playing like shit.

    To be fair, Rex is asked about the patriots nearly every day, and I'd assume that BB gets the same.
