    Yeah that was a head scratcher
    But have to admit, Belicheat was perfect with his clock mgmt on that drive.

    Actually I think it's the same the thing as in the open field: establish yourself as a runner, or go to the ground and maintain control.

    Yeah but I always thought the endzone was like a sideline catch. 2 feet down, control of the ball. Bang, that's it. Ref said even in the endzone the WR has to make a post-catch football move and become a runner before the catch counts. Learn something new every game I guess. That's why I'm not a Ref.

    Sideline same thing. "Maintain control through the process".

    They would have had to run it all three times just to get it down to 1:20 since the Pats had one timeout plus the two-minute warning and even 1:20 no timeouts is a risk against Brady. I actually agree with going for a TD there, the only issue I had was the stupid rollout on third down...Eli ain't exactly Russel Wilson
