Exactly. A win is a win, and it doesn't matter how it looks. Give me an ugly W over a pretty L any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Sadly, I don't feel good about this game at all. Pats 27 Jets 10 0-2 at home with 1 bad division and 2 bad conference losses. UGH!!!!
I have a bad feeling that Sanchez is going to throw a couple of picks as he tries to throw the ball downfield more as answer for checking down too much.
As much as I'm swayed by our awful week 1 offense...I'm gonna go against the tide here and pick the JETS to win. 27-16 JETS
I was fairly close on the stat predictions. Jets did score three TDs. Sanchez threw for exactly 220 yards (more TDs n no pick though). LT was three yards away on a long scamper from TD. Moss got a 34 yard TD on Revis, but was mostly shut down the rest the game. Welker had a few catches. Edelman was a little disappointing to me, but I guess that Hernandez guy was good. Anyone else wanna compare their predictions? I already pulled out a few troll predictions.
I was wrong. L.T was the back that went off and the Jets allowed how many sacks? 3? Well, I was wrong again. Our passing game set up everything and Sanchez was feeling it! I was 10 yards off, 2 TD's off, got the 0 INT's correct. I did have a feeling Keller would lead us in catches though. Well, our run defense did keep them under 60 yards, Brady did struggle, Brady did throw 3 INT's, Jason Taylor got a sack. I was wrong on a lot of other defensive predictions though. Off by a difference of 4 points. 1 off on the Jets and 3 off on the Patriots.
That was my prediction above. Another game like week one's would have killed me. I'm glad Sanchez got off...It can only help his self-confidence and the faith of the CS to put the ball in his hands and let 'er rip. LT has impressed from day one...and I hated him as a Charger. Cromartie still has to convince me.
I didn't make a prediction. I had a great feeling about this game..... but I would have never predicted the score anyhow.
