I agree and will paypal to this site if I lose. easily can confirm if I honored the bet. Do you agree. I don't want to hear excuses like dolphins eliminated us(week before) so we started a green QB (clemens)and thats why I shouldn't honor the bet.
NO that isn't what IM saying. Its no excuse just fact. You can have all the talent at skill position, but those players are depended on Oline , QB getting them a ball and a Oc devising ways to put his players in a position to suceed. Again lets see how Raiders tackle those problems in the offseason. Like last year on defense, Raiders problems was the LB play was bringing down the whole defense. They dfix that problem and boom see a big improvement in the defense performance. Raiders will have like 32 million dollars to spend in Fa, Draft early and often(will get some bluechippers) They can fix the problems on offense this offseason. Than look ouit as raiders defense is only going to be alot better next season.
Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggg. The pirate teams suck. Nobody cares that the Raiders have a good defense, Raiderjoe. The team sucks. It is 2-11. It might be better than the Buccaneers. Might be. Maybe if they try really hard the next three weeks, the Raiders can surpass the Lions and move all the way up to rank as the 30th best team in the league. By the way, you don't get a cookie in the mail because the Raiders defense is okay.
Obviously I care that the Raiders have a great defense and maybe next year will have the best defense in all of football. IT has a chance to be that good. The goal is not to be competitive but to eventually win superbowls. Like the Ravens showed when you have a dominating defense, and your can protect the football , you don't need much from the offense to win a championship. Raiders will be drafting very early(going to get some impact players) Raiders will have alot of money to play with in FA. They have a very goodchance of fixing the holes on offense next year. Yes IM excited about Raiders future. BTW Alot of people killed me on these boards with my predictions on Raiders defense. Well I don't hear any more laughter, Guess I was right after all. <Pat on Back>
 That quote means anything? You have any idea who wrote that crap? Moss hasn't "gone off" in ages. He just doesn't care. You don't want to take my money? That's a good one. I'd bet $20. I accept Paypal.
YEs It was cbsportsline or sporting news. YEs R Moss hasn't even tried for most of the season, but the fact is Teams are paying him alot of attention. Anyone that has watched the raiders will confirm this. LIsten I don't want to make any money off anyone on this board or any board. That just me. Thats why I have the bet that the loser has to contribute to this site. Is it much. NO but its small price to preach the gospel of AL Davis. Like I said Raiders have as much chance to make the playoff this year, as Jets have to beat the Raiders. NONE.
Wow. As far as the vaunted defense is concerned, Washington sure got eaten alive in Cincinnati last week. It's a decent defense, maybe good, but certainly not great. That offense is so bad, it may take till 2008 to even get it to a 2000 Baltimore Ravens level. By then, free agency, age, and injury will alter the amazing defense.
NO again your wrong and you will see how great that defense is the last game of the season. A little tweak and they do have the chance to be the best defense in all of football. It is that good of a defense. HEre is a little exercpt what happened STRATEGY AND PERSONNEL The Raiders employed two-deep and three-deep zones against Cincinnati not because of the Bengals starting receivers, but because of their fear of slot receiver Chris Henry. They were comfortable with Asomugha and Washington lining up against Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, but not confident about Tyrone Poole in the middle of the field against Henry. The Rams present a similar dilemma. Starting receivers Torry Holt (76 receptions, 985 yards) and Isaac Bruce (58 receptions 826 yards) get good support from Kevin Curtis (37 receptions, 422 yards). Although Curtis has an 11.4 yards per catch average, he has speed to take it much further. ?Rams WR Torry Holt vs. Raiders CB Fabian Washington ? Holt is looking for a bounce-back game after some conspicuous drops in a 42-27 loss to Chicago. He has 76 receptions for 985 yards and 10 touchdowns and remains one of the premiere route-runners in the NFL. Washington, although he had an interception in last week's 27-10 loss in Cincinnati, appeared lost at times in the zone schemes the Raiders used against the Cincinnati receiving corps. He has played extremely well in man-to-man, press coverage, something the Raiders may rely on heavily against St. Louis. There three reason why Raiders didn't play well last week , One there defenseline played probably there worst game last week as C Palmer had all day to throw(still pick him off three times), Like the report said they played alot more zones (Raiders Cbs excell at man to man defense. ) One game does not make a season on defense, as your not judged on one game ,but what you do over 16 games. In final Raiders starting CBs are playing as well as any group in football. In Fact you can include S routh too in equation. When he has played has looked great. Just that all three Cbs prefer to play outside and they need a Nickel CB that can handle slot reciever.(Those CBs are a dime a dozen0 You wish you had half the defense the Raiders had.
Stop it. It is not great. If it was great the team would be better than 2-11 regardless of how bad the offense is. I have Sunday Ticket. I have watched portions of all the Raiders games and have watched a couple of their games all the way through. It is good. It is not great.
you want to do a bet where the loser donates money to a charity of the winner's choice? At least the Raiders won't finish with 2 wins, though. I think they'll beat St. Louis today.
hahaha, Raiders have talent. I hope you mean they have other talents, like can make balloon animals or know card tricks, cause I dont see it on the football field.
