Well I'm a linebacker, so I wouldn't know about that exact situation but I know when I will want a holding call made against a blocker....

Obviously, in game, you're always happy when a call goes your way, regardless of why it was made, but that doesn't mean that you can't admit, in confidence, that a call was unnecessary.

That being said, for example, if I'm trying to string out a runner on a sweep, or something like that, and a blocker gets a grip on my jersey, but doesn't significantly change my ability to make a play, and I just blow it anyway, I'm not going to be upset that it wasn't called...

I guarantee you that the receiver on that 4th down play wouldn't have said a word had it not been called.... And none of the focus would be on the referee... That's how you know the official did the right thing...

I think you're wrong about whether he was impeded, I saw his stride alter twice as he ran the route, but I guess I'm not going to convince you, and you aren't going to convince me.

I guess the Pats aren't done pummeling teams.

(tho i think the steelers are a bit of a fraud anyway)

Do you say the Steelers are a fraud because of their schedule? CHFF seems to say that their defense was pretty much for real.

I think their frauds because their record is inflated by wins over weak teams, and because they've lost on the road to the Jets, Cards, and Broncos. They almost lost to Miami at home.

Te only win over a supposedly really good team was seattle, who I think is the NFC version of Pittsburgh, destined to fold out quickly in the playoffs.

Tough loss...however called Vegas's bluff again. 22.5?? Are you kidding. Hopefully they set the Miami spread at 30 so I can pay for next Christmas's gifts as well.
