The real Pats fans have nothing to be ashamed of. It's the bandwagon fans that will being to rapidly disappear if the Pats continue to play like they did yesterday that should be ashamed of themselves.

It would be nice to see fewer and fewer fags wearing Pats gear in NY though. It's disgusting really - most of them will be wearing Broncos or Cowboys gear by seasons end. So which team are you thinking, Grogan?

  2. Although the booing and leaving early during yesterday's game was very over the top and ridiculous...it's WAY too immature to be calling the Pats done. Now they'll come back in 2 weeks after destroying their next opponent to talk all kinds of trash and you guys will wonder why.

    exactly.

i was amazed at how early they were leaving, and the boos at halftime. that's what bandwagoners do though, they boo! seriously, talk about fans that can't take the good with the bad.

you know who the NE fans should talk to? Cincy, Arizona, and Detroit fans. THOSE people are TRUE fans! :)

I wonder if Peter King is going to illustrate for us how bad Pats fans can be, because it was easy for him to when the Jets' attendance was low in a preseason game. Most Pats fans these days seem to be bandwagoners, just as Randy Moss is a bandwagon player.

I'm not complaining. The cheap ass nosebleeds I had for yesterday's game quickly turned into sideline seats by the 3rd.

This coming from the low rent fans that cheered their own QB's injury.

Not me, pal, and I was beyond disgusted. As to the Patriots fans, herein lies the difference. Jets fans never paraded themselves around to the public like they were bastions of morality.

Let's be real here. The Patriots were never 'classy' since that malignant narcissist Belifraud took over, so why did they make sure to make it a PR issue in the past? And don't misread: I couldn't care less about whether Belichick is a 'nice guy'. That's completely immaterial, and that goes for every team in the league if you win games - legitimately. He just finally opted to drop the 'classy' team veneer when the charade was no longer possible to uphold. As evidenced by all the crybaby mess that goes on over Patriots players crying 'dirty'. Haha, I love when they cry dirty, especially since Brandon Jacobs is lucky he isn't blind in one eye today. You don't ever mess with anyone's eyesight on purpose, especially in this day and age. Ever. And it was.

the Pats aren't going anywhere this year, take off the Brady jersey and put on a Romo or Trent Edwards.

LOL....ever been to a game in Miami? More fans of the other team than Dolfans!

  13. Fair point.

However... do you ever hear mobs of Miami fans praising themselves for being passionate and die hard suffering through the "Keith Byars years" like you hear many comparitively New England/Boston fans contend?

I can buy the Sox b/c lets face it...for 80+ years they were the jets of baseball...and the fans have always showed pride and passion. But the night/day effect of the Celtics this past season, and moments like this past Sunday for Pats fans...shows a very "Human" side to what NESN and ESPN try to portray as the babylon of sports towns.

This from the fans who cheered their QB (Pennington) who gave everything he had for his team, when he got hurt.

Happens every week in the NFL, fans boo when their team plays bad. No better, no worse than anywhere else.

Kurt, every team has it's quota of asshole fans. When teams start to win alot, the asshole quotient rises because front runner fans who jump on the wagon shoot their mouths off and overshadow the good fans.

    High asshole % fans
    Sox
    Pats
    Yankees
    Giants
    Lakers
    Canadians
    Steelers
    Cowboys
    Pistons
    any Philly team

I saw Good Will Hunting, you people should definetly be ashamed.

  18. You're absolutely right....all those teams of asshole fans. My point was that NESN and ESPN love to toot the boston sports fan horn....and I think some of their assumptions fail to mention the front runners and trash talkers that are within the fan base. This is a fair example
