and i think the Lions are one of the few teams to have never sniffed a SB throughout their entire existence. Its one thing to never win one, like the bills who represented the AFC on 4 years in a row, but losing them all..but at least they got to the game! I used to think that even after Namath, the overall picture is the Jets have been the worse team in the league forever. We haven' always been great, but at least we didn't win our last PO game in 1957 with NEVER having made a SB. Serious question....how do fans even stay with that franchise after a full generation of frailer? I give them a ton of credit and will be rotting for them to takeout the 9ers or Eagles early in this years POs!

You are correct…there are only a few teams that have never made the Super Bowl… Lions, Browns, Texans, Jaguars are the four teams who have never been to a Super Bowl…the list of teams who haven’t won it is a bit longer, but those are the four teams to never have even made it since when…1966? (Though in their defense, the Texans and Jags are more recent expansion teams so they haven’t been around all that time, but still)
