Dammit. 10-0 at half. Boy that game still makes me made. I hope that's not the closest we ever come to a super bowl. The 2007 season is going to be huge. We need to take a step forward from being 10-6 and wild card. I want the division
You know what hurt more than this game? 1999. I remember being so upset about this game, but then looking ahead so much to 1999......
3-0 at the half, 10-0 early 3rd. I felt like we would be the team to beat in '99 and losing Vinyn and everyone else killed us but being so close in '98- it's hard to rank any other time ahead of that.
What I'll never forget about that time is after the Game where Vinny gets injured, Keyshawn shows just how upset he is at what happened.... hell...*I* felt like smashing the podium to bits myself...
you mean that follwing year when we were FAVORED to go to the SB and testicles blew his achilles out in game 1???? thats the greatness of being a jet fan....those little moments you can cherish.
It's Testaverde, you bozo. And unfortunately those "little" moments are and have been a dime-a-dozen for as long as Jets fans remember.....and that's the truth.
apparently the sarcasm meter on your PC is busted....because thats what i was goin for....and bozo? wow....great name! when youre surprised do you yell "SHIVER ME TIMBERS!!!"?
The Denver game was definetly the worst for me. I live in downtown Denver and road my bike to the game. They delayed the game because the first championship game went to overtime and they were showing the end on the big screen. Morten Anderson missed maybe his only field goal of the year and the crowd in Denver (both jets fans and Denver fans) were going crazy because Minnesota was definetly the scarier team. Everyone figured that whoever won the game in Denver was going to win the Super Bowl. Damn, that was our year!! Thanks for hashing up some bad memories. Let's now talk about our favorite funerals.
