It's vertical because Andrew Walter (when he's in there) is driven backwards vertically. Works every time. Drops back, gets sacked, big loss of yardage. Perfect symmetry.
Over the last five years, Champ is the best. Aso has played at least as good this year. By "favorable press" do you mean it's hype? It doesn't matter if Coles is 100%, Aso has covered better receivers than him this year...
Besides favorable schedule. Is it true Jets have onl;y beaten two or three team al year with winning record. PLayoff Bound??????? LMao. NOt if Raiders have anything to say about that. Like i said I love the matchups. ONly alot more confident after what I saw what the Dolphins average secondary did against Jets offense. Hey you can still make playoff if Jets lose(Better hope this one works out )
Favorable schedule? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Oakland "2000 Baltimore Ravens Reincarnate" Raiders on the Jets schedule? Seems to me that is a tough opponent for the Jets and makes their schedule less than favorable.
The Raiders have a very average to below average run D and give up points at about the average for the league. What the Raiders don't do is score points at anywhere close to the average for the league. Your team has some talent but for the most part are a young, badly coached, flawed team that basically stinks. They are going on the road across the country and the likely hood is the team will mail it in sometime between the the pre-game show and the first beer commercial.
YEA and Viking have the worst pass defense in football. Again Chap pennington has looked great against average and very bad defenses. HE has looked horrible against the good defenses. Where was Coles against the good defenses.
Chad will have little pressure on him to make any big plays in this game becuase you can't score. We can beat you on special teams and turnovers. Your team puts the ball on the turf at a very high rate. The Jets will play a low risk game and the Raiders will self destruct and than quit.
Comeon stop thE BS. I Love how you trying to cover yourself with excuses. Here is what I mean. YOU want everyone to know COles is injured, so when Raiders CBs shut him down, the reason why was because he was injured. NOt because the guy opposite him was better. Coles goes off than you can say I told you so, NO CB can cover Coles man to man. Hey even I would be right if Im made predictions like That. GEt off the fence.
We are never gonna know if Chad can handle the Raiders secondary because the Jets are going to run the ball 45 times on Sunday. That's how you beat the Raiders. Just run and kick field goals. Why risk INTs if you don't have to?
Jeauxseph, I just have one very simple question. I want you to think about this, so churn it around in the ol' bagel maker before you answer:When you're wrong THIS time, can we finally establish that you're not very good at Raiders predictions? Oh, and I read that crazy post of yours - the one about how we ignore all of your correct predictions, and focus only on the incorrect ones. You're going to have to mine those out of the archives and blow the dust off them. I just can't remember a single one. I'm not breaking your chops about that (well, actually, I am; but I always am), I just can't remember a single correct prediction.
The Cotchery-Coles WR tandem will be the second best one the Oakland defense will have faced this season. Here's who the Raiders faced, week-by-week. (Asomugha out vs Baltimore; Washington out vs SF and the first Denver game) Game, WRs 1- E. Parker, McCardell 2- Clayton, Mason 3- Northcutt, Edwards 4- Bryant, Battle 5- Smith, Walker 6- Boldin, Johnson 7- Ward, Wilson 8- Branch, Jackson 9- Smith, Walker 10- S. Parker, Kennison 11- E. Parker, Jackson 12- A. Johnson, Moulds 13- C. Johnson, Houshmandzadeh 14- Holt, Bruce 15- S. Parker, Kennison
I agree with what you say about Pennington - you can go find posts by me criticizing him about this exact thing. All I'm saying is if you try and man up Coles with no safety over the top he will burn you. You can also find posts by me talking about my concerns with CP against the Raiders secondary. I didn't see the Raiders vs. Rams, but I find it hard to believe they put no safety over Holt in single coverage ... if they did that is one hell of a corner. I won't believe it until I see it - I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't believe it. Another reason I find this hard to believe is the Raiders run D is not very good. If they're putting corners out on an island against #1 receivers they must have another man in the box. How could they have 8 in the box and continuously get burned in the run game? This combination doesn't make sense. If the Raiders try to man up with Coles with no safety over the top I'm willing to bet he burns you at least a few times. I'm sure you disagree. I'm not going to argue with you over what may or may not happen, we'll know by 4PM Sunday.
except for the Browns being a decent team and playing it on the road compared to going against the biggest joke in football at home.. Big difference..
