If they are going to sign this guy, might as well re-hire Kotite while they are at it.

good try, but Kenyon Coleman was traded to Cleveland, not Drew (Kenyon is a DE, Drew is a CB)

This is a team that has loved the term "no baggage" for many years now. I say screw it..take on some baggage for crying out loud..its the 21st century. Have one of your players shoot themselves in the leg...or date a 17 year old.

I say go for it not for the talent but just break away from the whole "Mangini litmus test" on quality people and bring someone in thats as dirty as a street hooker at around 7am..or so Im told.

I agree he can fit in nicely into blitz packages and he would be a great returner and we wouldnt have to pay him tons of money

im for it its not like we are relying on him to be the number one corner he is competing to to be the number two... he acts up bench him and we are still ok..... if he wins the job you know its because he is on his best behavior. its really not a huge deal like it would be for teams relying on him to make a big impact.

I know how talented Pacman is, but if he'd come here he'd be at the bottom of the depth chart and would have to work his way up. And the order of the depth chart isn't always all about the level of talent, just ask Lito Sheppard.

As you said, Leonhard has been named to be the starting PR by Ryan and for a reason, the guy produced last season in Baltimore. And even though we don't have a proven backup at SS behind Leonhard, that doesn't mean that we'd be fucked if Jim wasn't there on every defensive down. We picked up Cook, IMO a great UDFA pick up and I expect him to make the team. Lowery could also spell Leonhard by taking a few snaps at FS and then Rhodes could slide to SS.
Eric Smith is a bum, I agree and will probably be cut in June.

Leon wouldn't be the starting PR but could return a few every once and a while. He may not be a great PR, but he is a very good one.

I did not say that I wanted Cotch to return punts, I said he could in case of emergency. Don't put words in my mouth.

All in all, I woudn't want Pacman. For a possible dime back and PR the baggage outweighs the value.

Bring back the days when we took chances on players like Brian Cox instead of all this lilywhite BS.

Jones has talent but he is a liabilty , can we change that who knows but getting him tyo training camp on a vet min is a no risk plan. if he shoots himself then he gets cut and we move on!

What exactly has Pacman ever done? Besides get arrested and dabble with TNA...

He's been exactly what he is, average. I'm not jumping on this. Forget his past. What does he have that we need? Anybody...

Name a bad boy that has helped his team...

The raven had lots of badboys, and lots of success. Ryan is like Parcells, bring in the bagage.

    Name one.....

    **Edit**

And please, don't name players who have attitudes or are arrogant. They're assholes, not bad boys. I want players who are criminals.

the super bowl champion 1969 jets had many bad boys on that team. many of those guys were drinkers and womanizers which was considered bad for 1969.

In 2006, he was close to dominant: 3 punt return TDs, 4 INTs (1 returned for a TD), and he had a better punt return average than Devin Hester. Jones was also considered a top-tier NFL corner in just his second year.

He was then suspended in 2007...

Why would I ask Lito Sheppard about being low on a depth chart? He was replaced by a better player - Asante Samuel.

The order of the depth chart is always about the level of talent. Erik Ainge is a third stringer for a reason...
