The one thing that will hurt us with other FAs will help us with our own. League uncertainty = players wanting to sign while they have a chance. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cromartie come back relatively cheaply if there's no CBA by the end of the league year. There's no way he can take on the uncertainty of the season without a signing bonus. He needs paternity money. I'm pretty certain that Braylon will be the easiest re-sign. If he was willing to retire prior to finding a home here, he's going to make it easy to retain him.

Holmes is the wildcard. I honestly have no idea what he's going to do or ask for, but I'm starting to think circumstances will bring Harris and Cromartie back in. I just hope they don't overpay for Harris. I know Tanny will play a waiting game with Cro right up to the March deadline because of what happened last year with that salary advance. A lot of teams will fill their holes in the draft, again if no CBA is reached by April, rather than count on a FA period that could start awfully late.

We have to keep Edwards and Holmes. The rest can be upgraded. Start Kyle Wilson next year and John Conner.
