If the jets beat the bills in 2 weeks, we will be in fantastic shape. If they lose that must win game, we're screwed. The next 2 are crucial. But before the big matchup in buffalo, lets have some fun and gain some confidence back beating up on the chiefs and herm.

If the Jets win the next 10 games, they will be in spectacular shape. What's the point? Either way, neither is happening at this rate.

Very good point. I was one of those that drank the Kool - Aid, especially with the acquisition of Favre. It's time to come back down to earth. The season is certainly not over and the way this season is shaping up, anyone could be left standing in January.

As the old saying goes: pessimist complain about the wind, optimists hope that the wind dies down, and realists change the direction of the sail.

I beileve the Jets can change the direction of the sail; thus stearing this ship in a different course. Enough with the conservative playcalling; one week their blowing out teams and the next losing in OT... ENOUGH.

This team is better than that.

So I imagine 9-7 can get a wild card spot?? Wow, the NFC and AFC have switched roles in one off-season.

The crazy world of the NFL.

The only optimistic look I can think of is that at least we'll be able to keep our 1st and 2nd rounders for next year's Draft.

First, I never assumed I knew more than anyone else. So there is no reason to make it seem like I said that. I was very careful to just state my opinion and not insult anyone else who is taking the doomsday approach. All I did in the part that you quoted was state facts, which many people on here won't do when taking their doomsday approach. However, if you want to start going back and forth like that I can definitely keep up.

Second, my argument wasn't based around the Patriots winning or losing last night. I pointed out that if they lost we would be tied with everyone else for the first wild card spot. Actually, the fact that the Patriots blew out the Broncos after losing 30-10 to the Chargers proves my point that the NFL is crazy this year. Anything can happen on any given week and no team has a definite advantage over any other team at this point (other than the Titans.) It's the craziest season I've seen in the NFL and I bet others feel the same way.
